  1. OH MY GOD TOM! Thank you SO much, it took me like 10 minutes! It was SO much easier than I thought! You're definitely on my favorite person of the year list! Thanks again!
  2. Thanks alot Tom, sounds easier than I thought! I'll let you know how it goes!
  3. Ok, so i didn't get to it tonight either... all i really need to know, is do I have to do anything special to get the hinge pins out, or do they just tap out?
  4. I haven't yet, but I haven't really tried since I posted this either, got busy yesterday. I'll give it try tonight after work and see where it gets me and then let you know. Thanks so much!
  5. This is the before pic... like the "anchor"? He let it go with the boat! A couple of pics while painting, building removable floor, and installing seats. And the whole shebang. (floor wasn't finished yet, I kept pulling it out to go fishing!) I call it, The Grape Escape!
  6. Hi guys, I wrote awhile back about a problem with my Minn Kota Endura 50, after some more research I found that I had broken the t-bar, so I took someones advice and went to trollingmotorparts.com. I got my t-bar replacements today, and I've looked up a schematic for the motor, I think I can manage this by myself, but I'm curious, does the hinge pin just tap out? I've given it a couple whacks, but I'm afraid to hit it too hard, has anyone replaced a t-bar? Replies much appreciated!
  7. Did you ever get this figured out? The same piece is broken on mine... I'd love some insight. Thanks
  8. So the last time I took my boat out , I noticed that the transom trolling motor wouldn't lock in place, one of the little plastic nubs that locks the motor at an angle as broken off (am I making sense?) I've searched for trolling motor transom mounts, and I'm not having any luck finding someone who sells that part of the unit. Maybe I'm not calling it the right thing? Hoping to get this fixed before the water gets soft, anyone have suggestions where I could find such a thing? Thanks in advance!
  9. I'm actually one of very few people who love hot and humid weather. Right there with you!

  12. Don't be afraid to try something new... Ask yourself, if I were a fish, would this look edible to me?
  13. I too am glad to see that we are conspicuous in our absence! I can't speak for any of the other ladies, but in the summer my computer gets sorely neglected. I've been too busy putting a floor in my boat (all done, looks great!) and catching my personal best largemouth at 4lbs and in Wisconsin, that is not a fish to sneeze at!
  14. After reading these replies I'm glad I have a little boat. Back down, get out push the boat off the trailer and tie it up. Loading, I grab the rope in one hand and the winch strap in the other, get the boat straight with the rope and connect the strap quick and then start cranking. 12 foot and fairly light makes it easy enough to straighten on the trailer if need be. It also helps I usually dress to get wet when fishing and don't mind going in the water at all. And I LOVE taking my boat out by myself! ;D
  15. Didn't they repeal the barbless hook/artificial bait thing last year? Still catch and release though.
