Remember that Pomme is traditionally high in the spring. I have seen it as high as 9 ft above normal pool (last year I think or the year before) They predominant bite when this happens is the flooded buck brush. Be prepared to fish flooded brush if you are going to Pomme in the spring. Just keep and eye on lake levels etc. when the time comes. Many ways to fish it.
I like Jerks, warts, spinnerbaits, etc. and flipping. I keep it simple though using natural colors like green pumpkin, watermelons hues etc. Heck throw the bubblegum....I would.
