  1. If you looking to sell boats go with the white. If your looking for good looks and to sell boats go with the red. With the white you can't look at anything else on the wrap without your eye immedietly being drawn right back to the Skeeter. With the red its got the correct contrast with the gray boarder around it and it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. Very cool design otherwise!!
  2. :o :oAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :o Being a machinist I've had my share of steel slivers jammed under a fingernail. Everytime I think of it I go lightheaded.
  3. Very Nice! I like the colors.
  4. It should have a red Ultra V sticker somewhere on it. They may have slipped you a leftover package of the old formula.
  5. Bald Eagle breasts fit really well into a portable fridge.
  6. Why can't you just use a cooler with ice?????
  7. You've pretty much got it right. Measure from the mounting platform to the waterline and add 2 feet. If it falls between two sizes I would go with the longer one, I figure its easier to shorten the shaft by raising the motor then it is to make one longer.
  8. Nope, sorry, you could 'probably' pull it but since its not made for towing it will burn up the tranny and be VERY UNSAFE since the brakes are WAY undersized for towing. Buy a cheap beater truck to pull it if your not ready to buy a new truck at the moment
  9. Hopefully the fuse blew or you didn't turn the unit on after the wire got cut. I've cut 2 'ducer cables in the past, one was able to be repaired because the fuse blew and protected the head unit, the other didn't have a fuse for some reason and it blew out the head unit and was beyond repair. I don't think you need to worry too much about the shielding, as long as the cut isn't right next to other electronics or wiring you should be just fine. The one I was able to repair I just twisted the braided wire together and soldered all the small wires. That was two years ago and haven't had any problems doing it this way. Just make sure its a couple feet away from anything that has electicity in it. Like W2S said it won't cost you anything to try fixing it yourself just make sure you have the proper size fuse before turning everything back on.
  10. Have the customer buy officially licensed decals or stickers (must have the little hologram sticker with serial #) YOU keep the reciept AND the hologram sticker along with the work order for your records, might even want to take a few pictures also. You should be fine charging him whatever you feel is fair for installing them but DO NOT charge for the actual sticker. Keeping everything for your records will ensure that everything was purchased legally and not unlawfully reproduced should anything arise in the future. Also remind your customer that he/she is not allowed to sell them afterwards, you may even want to have them sign something that states you told them.
  11. Your talking about this: http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jsp?id=0013304017381a&type=product&cmCat=SEARCH_all&returnPage=search-results1.jsp&Ntk=Products&QueryText=pedestal&sort=all&_D%3AhasJS=+&N=0&Ns=SEL_LOW_PRICE|0&Nty=1&hasJS=true&_DARGS=%2Fcabelas%2Fen%2Fcommon%2Fsearch%2Fsearch-box.jsp.form23&_dyncharset=ISO-8859-1 and this: http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jsp?id=0013302016082a&type=product&cmCat=SEARCH_all&returnPage=search-results1.jsp&Ntk=Products&QueryText=pedestal&sort=all&_D%3AhasJS=+&N=0&Ns=SEL_LOW_PRICE|0&Nty=1&hasJS=true&_DARGS=%2Fcabelas%2Fen%2Fcommon%2Fsearch%2Fsearch-box.jsp.form23&_dyncharset=ISO-8859-1 right?? If so, I would put the swivel between the seat and pedestal so it prevents excess torque that the swivel won't like.
  12. I was just about to say the same thing. It even has the 'Heartbeat of America' sticker in the window.
  13. Just take the hammer and tap it back and forth, it should start walking its way out. If it doesn't move increase force until it does. You don't want to "knock the $hit out of it" because you could damage the seat where the bearing buddy sits making more work for yourself.
