  1. @WRB I heard he designed after a Sharpie
  2. When Gary Yamamoto first released the Senko I read about on another website. Gary listed Texas Rigged both weighted & weightless, as well as Wacky Rigged & on a Carolina Rig. This site contains a wealth of knowledge about the Senko. @roadwarrior was around at the beginning & @Team9nine should have access to lots information. One of our members @George Welcome I believe was there at its release. @Glenn probably has gems on the beginning as well.
  3. The only problem I'm having is the ability to go!
  4. I wanna learn how ya get to The Big Pond 🤔 @Pat Brown I learned years ago pre-spawn starts long before most anglers believe. Everyone talks about when the conditions get right the bass start moving into the back of creeks. Now consider this, there are resident bass in the back of creeks year round. These bass have a short distance to move to feeding areas & the spawning areas. @TnRiver46
  5. That's why he the Boss!
  6. I can not control what the other anglers are doing but I can control what ole Catt is doing.
  7. One misunderstanding about tournaments is the thought process of proving you're better than someone is completely wrong. If your mindset is you're competing against the other anglers, you're probably gonna lose. It's you against the body of water, the conditions, & dem green/brown fish with a brain the size of a pea.
  8. @JHoss I like this type of thread, it let's us get each other better.
  9. If you don't fish tournaments, why do you fish for bass? There are more non-tournament anglers than there are tournament anglers. So the question should be why fish tournament? As far fun fishing vs tournament fishing. I'm a bass fisherman, my preparation is the same if I'm going to the bayou across the street or the Bassmaster Classic.
  10. I grew up on the Louisiana/Texas Gulf Coast. I fished from Brownville Texas to Panama City Florida & out 135 miles. I've fished numerous saltwater tournaments both inshore & offshore. I worked as Deck Hand & First Mate. Working on a Charter Fishing Boat someone has to clean all fish, wanna guess who! I got tired of the smell of fish guts, diesel fuel, & even the smell of saltwater. Being a Cajun during the 50s & 60s everything was a food source including bass. Bass fishing down here for me was a simple choice because they are so plentiful. I got into tournament fishing during the 70s on Toledo Bend & Sam Rayburn. I fished with guys called the Hemphill Gang. Exactly 😉

    Plano 3700

3D printers use a digital model to create a physical object by adding material layer by layer. There are numerous useful things you can create with a 3D printer. From household items like coasters, door handles, and wall hooks to more complex items such as musical instruments, camera gear, and even prosthetics. You can also print educational tools like anatomical models or geographical maps.
  12. Why? Cause I wanna 😉

    Plano 3700

Problem solved My grandson Evan reminded me he has a 3D printer.
  16. For this dumb Coonass there's more to it than just sensitivity. Ergonomics, it has to feel comfortable with a reel attached & a lure hanging off of it. The more exposed rod at the reel seat is a huge plus. You cannot run fast enough to give me a rod with EVA grips. I can not explain why but can not get comfortable with any Dobyns. As for G. Loomis, in my hands my Kistler Helium is just as sensitive. My worm rod is a $99 Powell Inferno, below is the reel seat.
  17. 1972 I bought my first Fenwick Lunkerstik, I would feel like i'm going backwards.
  18. Both 😉
  19. Moved from Abu Gracia to Shimano.

    Plano 3700

My wife recently started making bracelets, necklaces, ect with beads. She had been buying storages boxes from Wally World & Hobby Lobby. They're cheap knockoffs of a Plano 3700. Yesterday I bought her four H2O 3700 boxes. My question, is the anyway possible to purchase additional dividers?
  21. Totally depends on the body of water & time of year. What I throw on Toledo Bend is different than what I throw in a marsh or on a bayou/river. Minimum 5 setups regardless of the body water. Once dailed in I quite often have multiple setups with variations of the same baits.
  22. 5+ for spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, & crankbaits 6.8 & 7.5 for everything else I throw a Calcutta for years that are 5.8:1
