  1. ive got a edge bowmout 55 5 speed handle today out on the water the forward speed just quit working now it only works in reverse forward nothing anybody had this happen any ideas appreciated ;D
  2. fixed it thumb bar was bent and driving into the plate
  3. my curado seems to be having a hard time when pressing the thumb bar. its been getting increasingly harder to press down. it will go for awhile with little problem then all of a sudden i have to press quite hard to cast then sometimes it will stay down and loose and floppy after a cast and i have to lift it and it clicks in ive opened it up and cant find anything broken or damaged any ideas???? last thing is when realling you can hear the gears inside ?
  4. anybody fish these did you find they were anymore effective than regular spinners
  5. hunt ducks
  6. check your rod and real carefully. i use 30 and 40 pd power pro almost exclusively and have put it through the ringer. i would say like others either you got a bad roll or you have some kind of nick or crack that is coming up during the violent flex of a cast. had it happen before like ta drive me crazy before i figured it out
  7. is he paying for materials ? im in the same line of work and have got some good deals that way the question is if you want a better rig when do you see being able to pay that price for a rig vs just spending your time for it ? often times the barter works better than using cash hat may be needed for other things
  8. hmm i learned with a piece oh crap. then moved up. mastering that piece made it very easy to get great performance from better reels
  9. i give another vote for owner ive had the same worm hook with cutting point on for over a month and caught many fish still sharp as hell
  10. well ive thought for awhile frogs might be a lil better with stiffer legs like an actual frog so here's what i came up with i took one old frog with no rubber left and got some skirt material and braided it then tied it into a not with a small flared section for the feet i also did the same with a new frog and added jig callors instead of a knot they look nice in the water legs spread apart and flex when moved more like real legs another thing i did was add an extra jig collar on the hook which keeps the seal from sliding as much ill report how they do
  11. sweet mama jamma ****** up as many as ya can afford my argon is awesome
  12. last one was on a zoom super fluke with a hook to me alot of it is knowing your waters the food sources and being there at the right time which useally isnt sunrise or sundown biggins seem to eat at odd hours ive got a few spots where there are a couple 10 + fish i see almost every trip problem is if they had hands theyed give ya the bird for a lil tiny brain there preety smart but if your there at the right time on the right day
  13. check out this one http://www.tinboats.net/index.php/Projects/building-a-livewell.html if ya live where it gets hot you mite wanna use a cooler to keep your water cooler
  14. guess it depends where ya are every double digit fish ive caught has been mid day
  15. the boat is on the trailer in the driveway its plugged into a grounded plug i cant really fill it on the gunnel rail but have 2 al brackets screwed to the rail and when i lean against those or put my arm skin on there i can fill a lil tingle i dont have anything grounded to the boat i thought the battery negative was the ground ? i dont fill it when its not plugged in the charger is screwed directly to the inside of an aluminum box could this maybe cause this should i put some rubber washers between the charger and boat to isolate it ?
