  1. Tilapia is my vote as well. On another note, please take that UK hat off, go cardinals.
  2. So many different colors on the brush hogs, any suggestions? Good bright ones? dark ones?
  3. I picked up a pack of toads today as well, I got the green/chartreuse belly's. Which colors did you pick up? Hopefully they will last long, they are normally a dollar or two pricier than some other soft plastics, but luckily Dick's has them at 20% off right now in Lou, KY.
  4. Hey all, I bought this lure a while back and have had a good amount of success with it. But unfortunately my fishing partner threw it in a tree today. If this link doesnt work, the lure is called a "Johnny Rattler" I had the silver/black shad/ silver glitter color. Anyone else tried these? what color do you have success with. OR since I am in the market for a new one, is there another brand out there that could produce better? Which color in that? -Patrick
  5. I used to have a LMB in about a 60 gallon tank. I only kept it for a month or two, but if used to eat out of my hand. If I stuck my finger in there it would strike it too! haha. It is harder to maintain than "normal" aquarium fish.
  6. Hey all, I am looking to step up my tackle box regarding crankbaits. I have never been a big crankbait fisherman, but am wanting to start to become a more well rounded fisherman. But before I start buying I want to make sure I am buying the right stuff. What would you all recommend when it comes to crankbaits, obviously I need a good variety for the different conditions and depths. I am wanting to buy between 10-20 crankbaits. any idea on what to get? I have also considered just buying a bunch of used ones off ebay, is this a bad decision? If you think you have a good variety of crankbaits, take a picture of your tackle box and post it! I am really at step one, so if you all could buy 10-20 crank baits, what would you buy? what depths and colors? Thanks in advance! -Patrick
  7. I would buy but I understand the supply demand thing :-\
  8. 2 spinning 2 baitcast 1 spincast
  9. dont have one. If I get one it probably will not be just a fishing boat, I'm sure I will have to please others first.
  10. Taking advantage of all my connections to people who own boats hah.. me =ShoreFishRMan :-\
  11. whoa whoa, No, I am not allowed to use IMO's in my paper, and if you read my post I didnt ask for them, stories are different (they are emotional appeals, which we are told to use). I was just coming here to get "general public" (For lack of better words) opinions on the subject to go with formal researched information such as books and dissertations. (yes, I can get this type of information from the school's libraries and databases (for RobbyZ5001)). I asked to cite your sources if you looked somewhere else to get any of your info, I was not going to cite any of you (cart7t regarding your post). Sorry for the confusion, I just asked to gather information I may have looked over/stories regarding the subject, if any, so I can rebut the contradictions (which is only catching and releasing). Thanks and Sorry for the miscommunication, Patrick
  12. Hey all, I am writing a research paper on the possible consequences of catching and releasing fish and I need some help. I know over popluation can cause damage to the food chain etc, but what are some other consequences? Do any of you all have stories about your local ponds or lakes and over population etc. If you give any facts or figures, please try your best to cite your source, but if you cant that alright as well. I have found the topic titled "Bass Fillets" that has some info, but I cannot link you because I have less than 10 posts hah.... Thanks in advance! -Patrick
  13. water, pb&j, and some kind of smaller snack.
  14. I agree with the OP, I would like to have a fishing software that does all this as well. I would also buy an app for my Iphone for this, but I doubt there is enough demand.
  15. Hey all, first post, but have been lurking around for a while. I was wondering what everyone reads as far as fishing magazines go. I have jumped around but have never had a subscription. Any suggestions? Thanks.
