I dunno....I was just assuming there was. If Glendale is still 80% im sure Raystown has a bunch. I'll be checking out Glendale tomorrow. Ill post an update.

The ice has to go!!! I fished Raystown on March 17 last year and there wasn't any ice at all!!! Hey JK, how bout that crazy stuff in Tyrone the other day? I was down behind your place recovering that stolen truck.

How are the water conditions around the area? I haven't been up to Glendale this week to check it out. Im betting that the big rain we got the other day and the two warmer days have put a major hurting on the ice. Keep me posted!

jk.....I have heard a couple times that they are planning on draining it down to fix something. I've asked several people when i've been out tinkering around on the ice. Not a lot of people know much about it though. Im just glad they aren't doing it like a couple years ago and do it early and then have drought conditions and the lake be several feet low all year. I did like seeing all the structure when the lake was down.....i found some points and things I didn't know existed. Also found a lot of old fishing lures!!! I don't see them draining it until all the "money maker" pontoons are off the lake.

I would be interested....as long as it doesn't interfere with the tournament schedule. Raystown, Howard, Glendale, Curwensville would be fine with me.....Glendale is my home water so I prefer there!! But anywhere is fine.

Canoe creek is an awsome lake pretty much year round. The launches can be a little shallow at times but it's well worth the trip. Great job JK....

Man......totally sucks I missed the outing! Im just gonna quit work and fish every day!! HAHA. Lake looked great from the pictures.....Just a couple bass caught? No musky? No stripers? I was working friday night/saturday morning who was all loaded up to go out. He pulled into Sheetz to grab a drink and his partner called and bailed on him! I was bout ready to call in sick with anal glaucoma.....Coz i didnt see my @ss workin much past 5am!! But I stuck it out at work and ended up making up to Glendale for a little evening go round. Caught 3 dinks and a pickerel. We hoping for an early April meet up? I'm all for it!! Anywhere on the east coast!!

Thanks everyone.....I have an internal gas tank and can not look inside it at all....ive never really run it so it would have been sucking off of the bottom of the tank or something like that.....how do I clean the carb? Just carborater cleaner? do I just spray it on there or what? Im clueless when it comes to these things!

I didn't get any warranty info with the motor....I actually bought it from my cousin....kinda like a 3rd party deal so im sure the warranty was up or something....I think it has a carb....it has a manual choke and an air intake...how would I know if it is EFI? I have to pump the ball on the fuel line once in awhile so would that make it not EFI? I've heard that the ethanol gas is playing hell on the engines and to use higher grade gas and Stabill.....

Well, motor (25hb tohatsu 2 stroke) is still giving me fits. Replaced the fuel pump and the coil and the motor is still crap! I can hook it up to the water muffs and it runs fine! I get it in the water and it just craps out on me. I've noticed last night that the motor wouldn't idle up like it used to and also when I put it in "forward" it sounds like the motor just chokes itself out. The water stream out of the top of the motor also wasn't as constant when idleing....when i would idle it up with the hand throttle it would start a steady stream......I was told maybe a CDI ?? box or a statter box 'er sumthin like that? Any help would be appreciated

You are probably right! It seems like I have a lot of time in practice and prior to the tournaments to prepare but always have to cram during the tournaments, like day before, day of, and the day after....Usually because I have to switch and pull a suicide shift just so I can have 6hrs off on Saturday mornings! I will slow down sometime....but I definitely see where you are coming from....Thanks for the input

I was up Wednesday and can tell you that the grass isn't nearly as bad as it was......Fishing wasn't great either!! Ill take the grass anyday....At least you know where the fish are holding! Couln't find them at all!!

I have a tournament next Saturday at Raystown.....hope the water temp stays down.....It was a lot hotter than that two weeks ago!! Anyone gets down there prior to next saturday let me know how it goes and what they're biting on.

Hello all, Just wanted to put our local bass club on the map! ITCHYTHS, which is greek 'er sumthin' like that! We have approximately 30 members and fish every other week in the Central, PA area, including Canoe Creek, Glendale, Raystown, Howard, and Black Moshannon. I've had a lot of success throwing those crankbaits....they can def. make your hands and arms tired after awhile....I found that a 6ft 10in rod with a low gear ratio is the best for cranking.....ever try the kneel and reel? It can really get the baits down deep.....gotta watch for rogue waves every now and then that nearly throw you off the boat!!!

I go to the Altoona Dick's sporting goods....they don't have the anacondas or the eeliminators there....im going to start ordering online. I just had an "emergency" and needed some stuff in a hurry. Thanks guys for all the help

Hello all, Went shopping the other day at the local Dick's Sporting Goods and bought probably my 40th pack of ragetail craws and shad this year....was wondering if it's the store or a marketing thing...can only find the ragecraw in the spring craw and dirty craw colors...the baby craw comes in the bama craw...Is there a full sized bama craw or even a bama craw space monkey? Also, they only have two selections for the rage chunk and no worms....what else is made beside the chunk, craw, shad, toad, and space monkey? Has anyone had success with them? I've won three tournaments and placed 2nd and 3rd in two others all on the ragetail dirty craw!! Had to switch it up this morning and threw the shad for awhile which is an AWSOME topwater bait! Thanks to the inventors of the rage tail line....just wish we had more selection locally....

Congrats on the win....it was brutal fishing conditions in Central PA today....30mph sustained winds and 60 degree air temp at 9am..... I took a beating today, glad someone could pull one off!!
