the weave can come undone a bit. Had some hooks actually get stuck in the braid like it would a rope. Got the hook and didn't look to have damaged the braid.
To my neighbor up North, I hope you're having a good Summer catching lunker bass.
Anyway, Braided line recommendation: Seaguar Smackdown 20# lb test. I have two and a half seasons with this it it is a fantastic all-around Braid. There have been no problems with windknots or tangles.
Send me a message if you would like more feedback from me. I Bass fish 5 or 6 days a week.

I use the KVD Line and Lure Conditioner every time I head out to go fishing. It really seems to help keep the braid running smooth and the weave appears to stay together.

You will totally fall in love with the Tatsu. I've been using it on my baitcasters #12 and spinning outfits #8. I have not broke off one fish in over a year of using Tatsu for all my bass fishing. Indestructible Stuff!
Whit, you're right on about Dee being Gary Klein's mentor.
As a side note about Flippin'. The term Flippin was coined by Dee Thomas because he was sponsored by Ranger Bass Boats of Flippin, Arkansas.
Dude, you're the NE Hammer!
It's been interesting to watch you grow older and get better with each of the last 3 or 4 years that you've been on Bass Resource.
I've got two sons that Bass fish with me from time to time. They are 19 and 23 years old.
Wowsa!
Dude that's like catching a 12 or 13 pounder in FL or CA. There are many bass fisherman up in the PNW that will never even see a 7 plus pounder live and in person.
Exceptional Catch.
Will, That was a really good recap of what was surely, a memorable day. Thanks for taking the time to type it up. I've always found your stories of the "Q" intriguing.
I lived in Acton, Weston and Southbridge MA in the 80's and early 90's.
