I am starting to get a few bass on beds. I was out fishing last night. shakey heading a 4" flipin worm. i took about an inch off so i would have a better chance to catch them. I was watching them take it in but when i set the hook no one was home. Any ideas what to do? what works for yall on beds?
I am normally a bass angler. but my parents and i go on vacation every summer. Dad and i will go after bluegill for a few hours to get a meal. and i catfish at night

deciding to make that "one last cast" it has payed off with the biggest bass to date. and has almost one my partner and i a few tournys. atleast it got us in the money.
Lipless crank. I go for an off color. I beleive this because, the fish are set on the color of the shad. When they see a different colored lure they take it not knowing what it is and just wanting to get rid of it. This may sound far fetched but it seems to work for me.
We have had 3 days of almost consistant rain. went out fishing caught 2 bass. I was using a 3 inch brush hog black with red fleck. What are some for your favorite lures to use after this time?
If i had to pick 6 colors in my box it would be
1. 7" electric grape power worm
2. 7" green pumpkin gulp turtle back worms
3. 7" black worm blue fleck
4. 7" black worm red fleck
5. 7" tequila sunrise power worm
6. 10" white trick worm
These worms have always consistently caught fish for me in any water condition any time of year.
