  1. Don't get me started, we have a lot of ice left on our lakes. You know how many time I have gone out and had a beer while sitting in my winterized bass boat. I actually went out side and practice flipping and pitching into pockets in the snow bank
  2. I like the Bass pro mega flipping tube they are eith 3 1/2 or 4 - 4 1/2 inches I can't remember. I get the larger size, they work great have plenty of salt and are affordable.
  3. Beautiful pics, you shouldn't be telling everyone how good the fishing is up here ;D. I love living here. Would this lake happen to be in Washington county?
  4. I would of been embarrassed but every ounce counts! :
  5. For ice out smallies here in Maine tubes are my favorite lure then jigs. I like the Bass pro shops mega fliping tube texas riged. All I do is cast let is set on bottom and barely drag it an inch at a time. They can't resist, my favorite colors are Black red flake, black gold flake and green with the black flakes.
  6. I haven't measured them, I usually just weigh them but I would say around 20-21 inches.
  7. Post the pics I plan on sharing my fishing pics in the northeast section once I get off probation. ;D
  8. very nice it must be nice to be fishing already. The water up here is still very hard, and it doesn't look like we are going to have an early ice out!
  9. Hi everyone, I from Washington county, Maine and I love bass fishing. I have been fishing since I was 9, (27 now). I fish in our local tournaments with my father and we are usually in the money. I am fortunate enough to live within 45 min. of some remote underfished lakes. On my home lake, most of the time I'm the only boat on the water, just me and the local Moose. I am also very lucky to have a job that allows me to fish alot and I mean alot!! I fish more in one season then most do in a life time, not bragging just very greatful to be able to fish so much. As soon as I meet my limit of 10 messages I plan on posting some of my fishing pics from over the past seasons in the Northeast section. Seems like a good group of members here, look forward to reading your posts.
  10. Hi all, I'm new. You are not alone Drewster116. I'm from Washington county and pretty much fish in Washington and Franklin counties. Love both largemouth and smallmouth fishing. I fish in tournaments put on by The Maine Blade Runners, good group of fisherman. One thing we have in Washington are lakes that don't get much use. My home lake, sorry a secret, 9 times out of 10 I have it all to myself and it has both largies and smallies. There is only about 12 camps on the lake.
