    Up in Canada with Erie driving distance there are a ton of local shops that pour their own tubes and they are great. But I've caught some on Yum and Mizmo tubes...3.5-4" green usually

    I've caught a bunch on the aglia...super effective My only issue is it spins up my line so I chuck a spinnerbait instead most the time instead

    15-20# braid is my choice if you are fishing largies in vegetation I use 15# braid with a mono leader if fishing clear water smallies

    I use mono on my spinnerbait/chatterbait/buzzbait/swim jig rod/reel I use Yo-Zuri Hybrid on my worm rod and crankbait rod I use braid on my heavy stick and light braid on my spinning gear I still have a ton of confidence in mono when fishing the baits I listed.     I just tie an overhand knot to the spool, spool up so that I have about 2 cast lengths of room for the braid. I tie a alberto knot between the backing and the good line, spool that up...done. With enough backing I'm never concerned about the knot to the spool, I just like a low profile one. With that much line you won't loose it casting

    If you're fishing that kinda cover I'd buy a spool of braid b/c it'll last you all season if not multiple seasons. Maybe 20# Tuf Line on the spinning reel. This line will fish well in the grass and be more manageable than mono/FC on your spinning reel. Maybe 15# mono on the spinning bait rod/reel. You can get a bulk spool of Trilene Big Game for $8 that'll last you a long time.

    I've never had to do that. If I can't get a bite on a t-rigged worm, I go drink beers on the dock haha

    I've really enjoyed Tuf Line as well. It beats power pro in price and no down side to it yet.

    I'm pretty happy with VMC hooks in general...especially for their price. I've used their trebles, worm hooks, and EWG consistently and love them I will definitely try their flipping hooks

    I'd throw a spinnerbait or chatterbait over the grass Then I'd throw a t-rigged worm and let it sink into that grass a bit slower. I'd throw a 10" ribbon tail or a paddle tail. I'd downsize the worm if I didn't get any bites.

    I use 12# on my MH worm rod. I have yet to break it off. Fish still seem to bite it so I'm keeping it! It handles well for me. I cannot justify spending FC $$ when yo zuri works better than fine

    I've caught some fish on the mighty bug. They were on clearance at the end of last season. They will work just fine.

    I use finesse worms and senkos on those lakes Drop shot, wacky rigged, and T-rigged then I use whatever the environment calls for. If the wind picks up and puts a chop on the water, I'd chuck a spinnerbait as well

    I keep my worms, flipping craws, senkos etc grouped in ziplocks then I have a soft tackle bag with a plastic molded bottom (doesn't roll over) from the hardware store that was on sale. I put the ziplocks in that and keep it handy in the boat.

    3/4 oz spinnerbait works well in 6-8 foot of water, you won't regret having one spinnerbait at that weight.

    Well FLW and me use a net haha I find i lose less fish at the boat and I have to pay for my own rods so I try not to break them haha Also, I've heard that the boat rash a bass gets from getting flipped onto the carpet is bad and can be detrimental to their survival post tournaments. I'm just a rec angler without 50k on the line so I just take my time.

    San Diego Jam knot will work on mono, flouro, and braid. Just alter the amount of wraps for the line ie maybe about 3 for heavy flouro/mono, maybe 4-5 for a lighter mono/flouro, maybe 8 for braid

    I have all shimanos and 1 abu garcia winch. The curado I find casts a bit better but the winch is otherwise real smooth and powerful. Bottom line, I like and use both.

    go straight braid. I had similar issues. I dropped the leader, never felt like I lost strikes. I will use a leader on my spinning gear (I use a light braid to a leader) in clear water for small mouth.

    This is not a FC line but... I was tired of break-offs and tired of the $$ spent on FC A lot of guys on here talked about yo-zuri hybrid. I've been using that since with fewer break-offs (none actually). I'm a recreational angler with a few club tourneys now and then so this works fine for me. I use it on my worm rod 12# test. I'm just gonna throw that option in the mix.
