Might be moving to Atlanta. How is the fishing? Especially the rivers? Like the hooch?

Hi All, I may be relocating to the Atlanta area. I am excited for the new fishing I may encounter there. Especially the rivers and the opportunity to catch a shoal bass. I am also excited about lake Lanier and Altoona - I've never caught a spot before. Anyone from the Atlanta suburbs? Any tips you can give me would be appreciated - especially good family areas to live with good schools. I am considering Roswell, Buford, Acworth, Dallas, Kennesaw. I will be driving into the city for work. I want to live near some good fishing for after work and weekends. Any advice? Thanks,

You fishing a tourney? Bass Fishing Home page has reports under MD, and you can research alot there. Most tourney's go out or Mattawoman and Leesylvania. Speaking only for myself, I've had luck with junebug worms with 1/8 oz around train tressle bridges on out going tides, black and blue jigs with chunk trailers on dock pilings. Crankbaits (bomber Fat A in craw) down rip rap. White willow spinnerbaits along grass lines. It's a good fishery - you can throw alot of things. Haven't fished it yet this year.
