  2. Calebas has it on back order. Anywhere else?
  3. What color do you guys prefere? Clear or green? and why
  4. I sent a PM to Bobby asking the same thing. He told me he is looking into it. They seem to be the same rod, but we'll see.
  5. Is it the same rod as this: http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/roland-martin-tournament-grade-i-im-7-topwater-lite-crank-bait-handle-c-casting-rod.aspx?a=516650
  6. I was at the fishing tackle shop today and boy is there a huge seletion of crankbaits to choose from. I'm somewhat new to crankin and a little bewildered on what brand and type to use. I fish mostly cloudy ponds that is not real deep. Fish in alot of 4-5 feet h20. Suggestions?
  7. Has anyone used the berkley spooling machine? Good or bad?
  8. Will that work for spinning reels? I always thought the spool needed to lay on it's side.
  9. Couple questions regarding spooling. Is it better to have a tackle shop put your line ona spinning reel verses at home?? Also is the berkley spooling machine worth it? or better then manuel? I always wonder if I'm putting line on right. Thanks Rob
  10. Would Yo zuri ultra soft be a bad ideal for a BC since it's made for spinner reels?
  11. Why not elite? what's the difference,
  12. My baitcaster fell in the water and was wondering what or even if i sould do any such as having it cleaned? Alot of backlashes when you using afterwards, but I took that as brakes were wet. Thanks Rob
  13. What are some good lines to consider for a basitcaster for spinnerbaits/buzzbaits? I'm thinking about trying Yozuri ultra soft 15lb, good ideal?
  14. Thanks for the input. I've been relectant on lower lb line for strength reasons, but I think I'll give it a try.
  15. Hey all Would 10lb be to high for a spinning reel? I've read where some will not use higher then a 8lb test on a spinner reel. Thanks
  16. Has anyone used one and do the work? Thanks
  17. Both lines did much much better today after applying KVD and stretching lines. Major difference in memory and casting.
  18. Got a couple of question on ultra soft: On their website the #6 is listed with break str. of 11.9 and the #8 is listed at 12. So should I just go with #6 since they are about the same break strength?? Has anyone tried both and seen a difference? Ant difference between using camo-green verses clear? Thanks
  19. yeah, I think you may be right. I'm learning the finer details about lines. I always like the stronger test line so i could muscle the fish and didn't use drag, but now reconsidering that and dropping to a lower lb test because the 12 lb fluro doesn't cast as far. I did stretch out the line tonight and added planty of KVD, so I'll see tomorrow if there's a difference.
  20. I'm using 12lb for both lines for a spinning reel, so maybe dropping to 8lb might help.
  21. Any other tips for fluoro??? I thought I read something about tying it to a fence and reeling it in tight???/
  22. Hello all I just recently bought some Invinzx and Triline 100% FC and was wondering if anything I can do to help with memory on these lines. Tried them for the first time today, they did seem to get better as time went on. I do use KVD line conditioner, but anything else I could try???
