  1. has anyone tried these or worth giving a try???
  2. Some of the fun is discussing and sharing ideals and what folks use.
  3. It is a nice line. What lb are you using.
  4. I used yozuri 6lb last year with good results.
  5. I'm indecisive with what I want to try this this year. How does this sound: 1) Seagur Invinz 8lb for crankin spinning setup 2) Same for wormin/plastics, might stay with ultra soft Yo-zuri. 3) Pline cx 15lb for baitcaster. Does anyone use ultra soft on a baitcaster??
  6. Does anyone get these? if so, how do you like them?
  7. If I understand what you're trying to say . You have got it backwards. Are you saying thinner cranks put off more vibration?
  8. I'm I thinking right that the fat boy cranks would give more vibration then thinner ones? I do alot of pond fishing that has mostly cloudy water.
  9. I'm considering giving it a try for my plastics. Has anyone tried it? i read a review where they said it was really strong. Any other FC suggestion would be apprecaited.
  10. Usually don't drink anything. I fish from a kayak so I don't want to have to go to the bathroom.
  11. I'm a rookie with this stuff. Got a couple questions. I called a store about a deep cycle battery they stated the reserve amps 150 annd CCA like 550. I thought deep cycle batteries didn't have CCA but only the dual ones do?? He stated they do have CCA. Does this sound right? As far as charging, I've been told to leave the battery hooked up to charger with low amp setting. I have a vector smart charger that does the 3 stage charging. The box says it cuts off when fully charged to prevent overcharging. My question is if it shuts off charging will it restart when needed to keep the full charge if left attached to battery while in storage? or does it just shut off altogether? Thanks
  12. I decided to go with the side mounted setup. Hope to get this friday by UPS. After I try it I'll post my experience.
  13. I've order a trolling motor that 12v with 30lbs thrust. I'm a rookie when it comes to picking batteries and charging. I know it must be a deep cycle one. I've read about folks picking a 24 or 27 battery, but what does that mean?? I have a Vector smart 12v charger that has 2/4/6 amp, but not sure what should be used to recharge a battery. Box says it has autmatic shut off at full charge, does that mean it can safely be left hooked up to battery til ready to use? I know these might be simple questions, but I'm new to this stuff and want to do it right to make the battery last. Any tips appreciated. Thanks
  14. Yeah, I saw that. That's how I found out about using rod holders to fit a mount. I've decided to buy one though.
  15. Thanks The bassyaks seem nice but I don't want motor attached to kayak. The other one looks pricey.
  16. Hello Anyone ever put a motor on a kayak? if so, how'd it work out for you? Anyone ever order from these guys:http://www.islandhopperoutboards.com/ I'm considering.
  17. Where could I expect to find anise oil? Grocery store? I just bought some carolina lunker in shad, thinking I should have got garlic, you know, second guessing myself. Also got some stuff I never seen before, Bioedge in crawfish. Should have got the garlic?
  18. For you guys who use scents, what do you use? In your opinion, is the spray stuff like gulp better over cream stuff like megastrike? thanks
  19. I fish alot of ponds that are low visibility, I can barely see my paddle in a foot of water. I know to use dark colored plastics, but does it apply to spinnerbaits/crankbaits as well?? What colored spinnerbaits/cranks would you use? Thanks
  20. Saw a guy using offshore yellow line and spoke very highly of it stating it was a sturdy line. Anyone here ever us it? Made for saltwater.
  21. Got me some ultra soft from fish307.com, the line is awesome.
