  1. Great information, thanks.
  2. I have neve used a guide service or been on a float trip on the Kennebec river. But I think most of the guides are good from what I have read. There are videos on You Tube about fishing on the river. Kennebec is know more for quaintly of the fish caught then size.
  3. Suggest that you pick up a copy of Clarks New Hampshire Fishing Guide for access locations around the state.
  4. I have not fished Lake Attitash in several years. There have been some big fish taken from there. I primarily fish in New Hampshire. Actually I have not fished in about 4 yrs. Hoping to change that this year.. The boat ramp at Attitash is very shallow requiring you to back your rig in a along way.
  5. Guys it is March 3 2020 and getting close to open water fishing time. Post up any reports on ice out conditions for ponds and lakes in southern New Hampshire.
  6. Are you referring to the book as in Clark's New Hampshire Fishing Guide or Is there another book available ?
  7. Thanks that's is what I figured if the description does not say specifically the material then it is lead. Maine also has a no lead law. At least if we gear up for the no lead we are ready to fish in three states.
  8. Are the Sixth Sense Divine swim jigs lead or tungsten material. I have to comply with the no lead regulations also.
  9. Leadfreejigs.com is located in Massachusetts. I have not used there product but intend on doing so. Tungstenfishingweights.com Located in Maine has good prices on weights. I have not used. leadfreejigheads.com I have not used
  10. I purchased the Buck Perry books years ago and read them. I had never heard of Don Dickson or his videos. Thank you for bringing this subject up. I am recuperating from Knee replacement surgery 3 weeks ago. The videos are great .
  11. Nice work !! Boat looks nice and I like the layout with the rod locker.
  12. I think bobh64 on here has an Avalanche.
  13. Well I can not help you on the ice conditions of the followings lakes I mention here. But if you are in the Dover , Nh area you can access the border lakes just a few miles north of Dover via the Spaldding Turnpike/Rt 16 easily. They are Milton Three Ponds, Horn Pond and Great East Lake. A little further east into Maine try Square Pond or Mousam Lake in Acton ,Maine area. These 2 are also accessible from The Great East Lake area via the back roads.
  14. Guess I better check out my Walmart .
  15. I believe I have seen bare unpainted punch weights that you can put skirts on the internet. Or it possible could have been a mold for pouring punch weights.
  16. Thanks for the info. I also fish in NH and Maine and I am in need of non lead lures.
  17. That truck should work fine but I am a Chevy guy. Not familiar with what an electric rear axle is.
  18. If you are thinking about modifying a jon boat you should check out the TIn Boats forums and website.
  19. There is a list of lead frees sources / supliers on Masswildlife and Minnesota Pollution Control Agency sites. Get the lead out Manufacturers and retailers - Minnesota Pollution Control Agency.url Massachusetts Lead-Free Tackle Sources (2).url
  20. Hey thanks for the tips and advice Good fishing to you.
  21. Welcome to the forum. I have never fished Pleasant lake. But i would be interested in any info you have. I went there about 3 years ago to fish it. I think the launch and parking across the road had been just upgraded. I got there to late in the morning and could not find a parking spot so I went on to Northwood lake. I think i need to get back to pleasent and try it out.
  22. I suggest posting/checking on the Tinboats.com forum for advice, experiences on this type situation. I think i would talk to the welder before ripping the topside apart. I would try another epoxy J B weld repair first.
  23. I would change out the fuel filter. I just changed mine out the motor and runs much better.
