I have been throwing them on a dobyns 705 glass cranking rod with a chronarch ci4. Can get pretty good distance on it but it feels like a 704 would be perfect.

You picked up the exact combo I have. Have only had it for a little while, but absolutely love it so far. Been chucking jerkbaits into some good wind with no problems at all. Casts like a dream!

Went with KVD, Ott Defoe, JVD, Hank Cherry, and Coby Carden. Was debating on KVD or Evers. Knew I should have gone with Evers! Oh well…

I have some and they come through cover really well. Love them for fishing brush!

Helloooo! I've been lurking around these forums for about a week or so. Thought that I would take the time to write up a little something to introduce myself. I just turned 19 about a week ago. I pretty much live in Waverly/Waterloo Iowa if anyone here from Iowa knows where that is. Mostly have been catfishing most of my life but this past year I started to do a lot of bass/pike fishing.
