  1. Chegg is where it's at. You save a ton of money that way. I usually can get 4 or 5 of the 6 books I need each semester. They even pay for the shipping to and from you.
  2. Thanks for the info Rondef. Me and the guys I room with will get on it tonight and get a few out. Good luck at the event and thanks for helping out our wounded servicemen!!
  3. Lil Keke - Fresher Than A Peppermint
  4. Biggest was 14.7 and she was right at 28.5" I guess she was looking for a small snack because she bit the BPS Super Finesse Craw t-rigged with a 1/0 Gammy and a 1/16oz slip sinker
  5. I love how people always think Texas is the place for red colored baits. It is true that Texas is known for it.....but has anyone ever thought that maybe it works just as well in other states? I ALWAYS have a red Aruku Shad tied on at all times of the year and red soft plastics are my top producers, and guess what.....I live in Georgia!!! I fish quite a bit in North Carolina and guess what color works best for me up there? RED!!! Try it, it works
  6. Freakin awesome game. Me and my friends have been playing non-stop. Hit us up....gamertag: Pankyke
  7. The new Killswitch Engage album is awesome. Definitely consider it.
  8. MD 20/20 is all he will need. A bottle of Banana Red and off to dream land he will go.... ;D MD 20/20 would work, but I think a bottle of Cisco chased with some Night Train would knock him out for the evening
  9. I'm a huge fan of Gamakatsu and always have been. I was ecstatic when they came to me offering a sponsorship because I was such a huge fan. This reply has nothing to do with my relationship with them, just my experience. Like Tin said, Gamakatsu has the best finesse/drop shot hook on the market. Their Weedless Finesse Wide Gap hook is also nasty on a wacky rig. Now for the issue of the EWG and Superline EWG with braid here is what I have seen. I for one have only bent out the normal EWG a couple times and that was with 65lb braid. No matter what company you use, if your not using a Superline or 2x, 3x, 4x hook, it's going to bend on some cases. I have never bent the Superline hooks. I also worked in North Carolina as a guide this entire Summer. We have all of our clients throw braided line and Gamakatsu EWG and straight shanked worm hooks. We easily landed 100 fish 5lbs or better most of which came from some pretty nasty cover. Not one hook ever bent, rolled, dulled, or broke. The only bending that ever happened was when they set the hook into a log. As for Gamakatsu trebles, I use them on all my baits, but I don't do enough cranking to give an honest opinion on which company does better. I just use the Gammies because I have a good number of them. From what I have heard, Owner definitely has the upper hand in this department. This is just what I've experienced and like I said, my opinion has nothing to do with my relationship with Gamakatsu. I don't get sponsored by companies I don't believe in 100%.
  10. Spro Superstar for slow rolling and dirty water S.O.B. Mini Me for burning and clean water
  11. If I were you I would have a Spook style bait, fluke, and 1/2oz double willow white spinnerbait tied on. The fish at Lanier are chasin the Bluebacks right now and any bait worked fast on the surface is going to catch them. Don't hesitate to throw that topwater out over deep water. (50ft +) Those spots will come up a LONG way for a topwater. Goodluck and have fun catchin them magnum Spots!
  12. Oh this thread is gettin good and the postseason hasn't officially gotten under way. In a week when both teams are playing in the ALCS, that's when the real fun is gonna begin!
  13. X2. The Fluke is my go-to bait year round. I use a 3/0 Gamakatsu E.W.G. I don't know what to tell you about the Pickeral problem because I don't have Pics here. I fish my Fluke on 8lb line with a small Spro leader 12 inches up.
  14. I like a 1/2oz white with double white, undersized willows burned as fast as possible. I have been SLAYING them with this setup now the whole Summer and into Fall. I have an article coming out soon that is gonna be all about this technique.
  15. The Little John is a great crank. I don't really throw the medium diver so I can't give you an honest opinion on it, but the shallow diver is dynamite. It comes the the garbage great and you can cast them a freakin mile. They will run true out of the box and they have the sticky sharp Gamakatsu hooks. My only deal with them is that the hooks will get tangled together more often than on an ordinary crankbait.
  16. I live off Arbys. Every trip I take I start with a pitstop there. I could eat it everyday for every meal. My favorite is one reg. roast beef and a beef n cheddar with large curly fry and a large coke. Ugh. I think I'm going to go get some right now....
  17. Robby, I see where your coming from, but I see a ton of the guys on the Elite Series still treat there fish like crap. I realize that in there situation, there's a ton of money on the line but with the Opens and Strens, I just think the 3 fish limit is a great idea, especially when those Summer tournaments roll around. I can't tell you how many dead fish were at my BFL on Lake Eufaula this last June. Had it been a 3-4 day like the Opens or Strens, you would have easily seen over 100 bass die in that tournament alone.
  18. God, Yankee fans have the biggest mouths. I love it. See ya in the ALCS
  19. Excellent decision. I have been with a ton of idiot boaters who can't care for fish and the less fish in the well, the less fish die. Tommy, whether you have 3 or 5 fish limit, if you catch a big fish, your going to cull a smaller one out. Also, catching a limit doesn't mean you have had made a bad day good. It's all about weight. You can have 3 fish that go 3lbs. People get so caught up in their "limits" Go catch 3 big ones and you will beat the guys with 5 tournament sized fish. I honestly would love to see a 3 fish limit in all tournaments, especially during the summer. I don't fish club tournaments in the summer because of how many fish don't make it.
  20. You can take all the W's you want in the regular season. Remember, we started 8-0 against you this season. The Yanks have been on fire.....but everything changes in the offseason. The Chokees haven't been doing to good in the postseason in recent years. We'll have to see if the big checks they wrote to acquire more all-star players make any difference. Cya in the ALCS
  21. Tough one Robby. Drink on my friend....your gonna need it to get over this one.
  22. Welcome back FPB! Your posts have always been my favorite out of everyone on here. Those are some nice bass, good looking carp, and a SWEET looking Koi. Keep fishing brother, we miss ya here!
  23. This bait is looks absolutely killer. I can't wait to try one
  24. I don't because I'm with Verizon. I have a bunch of friends with it and the internet is great from what I've seen. For the data plan on the Iphone, it's also $30 a month
  25. They say you "have" to get the dataplan, but there is a way to by-pass it. By it offline and activate it at home. Before it gets there, call customer service and ask them to put a data block on your account. After that, activate your phone at your house. As others have said, it's kinda useless to have a Blackberry without the data. The internet is good, but sucks compared to Iphone IMO
