  1. Like A Boss - The Lonely Island Knuck If You Buck - Crime Mobb
  2. I've only told my mom and dad about this, but I guess it's time to spill it. Last year at the KY lake roadtrip, I left out at around 1am. By about 2am I was driving along a real secluded road and off to my left I saw what looked to be a black box barely moving. It had a dull light on each corner. I was the only car on the road and at first I just figured it to be a plane or something but it looked real low and it seemed to just be hovering. I started to get a little freaked out so I gave my mom a holler to tell her. I was explaining it to her and looking at it as it barely moved out in front of me. After I hung up with her I looked down for a second to put my phone in the cup holder and when I looked back up, it was gone. I had goosebumps the whole trip home. Crazy stuff
  3. Not necessary if it was pee-wee leagues. This is big boy football. If they didn't like it, then they should have stopped it from happening. These kinda comments used to crack me up about the Patriots running up the score in the 16-0 season.
  4. cold hands. completely destroys my concentration
  5. Finesse fishing has nothing to do with weight size. It has all to do with presentation. It's all about slowing way down and fishing a spot that you know has fish on it, very thoroughly. Wether you are throwing a 10oz weight or no weight at all, it's all about the speed of your retrieve and the action you impart in the bait. Good luck my friend.
  6. Fishinfiend, congrats on the good lifestyle change and good luck. As someone said before, counting calories is huge when it comes to reaching your goals. A couple years ago, I was the fattest kid at my school, but through exercise and diet, I was able to lose it all. Now I'm getting pretty big into weigh lifting and counting calories is also real important to making good gains. I can't really help on the smoking part, but here is a resource suggested to me by Speedbead on weight lifting that has completely educated me and has led me to gain 11lbs of lean muscle mass since September. http://forum.bodybuilding.com/ Go make an account, fill out your Body Space stats, and ask away. YOu get answers instantly and those people don't play around. It's all business over there when it comes to getting in shape. Good luck man!
  7. Hey guys, I appreciate it. The birthday day was great but it feels kinda weird not being a teenager anymore!
  8. The best alarm clock is called the "screaming meanie." My uncle who is a truck driver turned me on to this. I'm a wicked heavy sleeper and I miss class a lot from oversleeping. This alarm clock stops that....trust me. http://www.cyclegadgets.com/products/product.asp?item=meanie
  9. x2. This is the best frog mod you can do. The reason Spro frogs have the best hook up ratio is because of how easily they collapse. That is why they fill it with water easier.
  10. Even though that water is pretty chilly, if those bass are chasing up high in the water column, don't be afraid to throw a buzzbait. Another bait would be a shallow running crankbait. Good luck man
  11. Jay, that vid was sick. If 3:10 and 4:05 don't make you wanna hit the water then what would?
  12. Haven't been to Lanier in a little bit, but my tournament partner for the BFL's lives on the lake and he has been saying that all the big fish are coming on the jerkbait. Try the Spro McStick jerkbait. It's what he's been throwing. Since the water has really cooled off, you might need to have some longer pauses to get em to bite, especially since we just had this big front blow through. If the long pause doesn't work, start ripping that bait hard and try for a reaction strike. Good luck man 8-)
  13. http://*.com/chunk All you need. best price out there
  14. I haven't been fishing for a decade, but in the time I have been, here is what really stands out to me.... 1. Winning a BFL 2. Winning Co-Angler of the Year in the BFL Bulldog division (youngest in FLW history 8-)) 3. Catching a 10.4lb fish in a tournament 4. Catching my PB 14.7lb bass
  15. After a cold front, I have 3 things tied on.... Spro Aruku Shad (lipless crankbait) - burn that thing like a wild indian over shallow cover and for suspended fish on the first break from a feeding flat. 1/2oz Spro Jig. I flip it into the nastiest shoreline cover I can find. Like others have said...not close to it, but into it. 1/8oz Shaky head. I like to go back through some of the areas I caught fish and try and get an extra bite by shaking that rig around em for awhile.
  16. Agree! Personally I stay away from it on a c-rig though. Not that I don't absolutely love it but it goes back to the "if you can afford it" factor. :-/ I am prone to losing c -rigs pretty often. Tru-Tungsten used to make a product called the "finesse c-rig weight" They aren't in production anymore, but if you can find them, you won't have to worry about losing weights on the carolina rig anymore.
  17. Welcome to BR Andrew. I live in Kennesaw too. I'm living on campus at Kennesaw State University. Shoot me a PM and we can hit the lake sometime. I'm starting to learn the local ponds pretty good and maybe I can put you on some decent fish.
  18. How is the swimming action on the Grass Minnow. Is it just like the regular Hudd? Does it swim right on really slow or really fast retrieves?
  19. JJ's Magic. Best scent on the market, hands down
  20. Did you personally know him to think he was a seemingly good man? He had to portray himself as good to get away with the sht he pulled. He dressed nice in the video when he stole as to not draw attention. He is a pro scammer, thief. I ain't praying for him, no way in heck. C'mon Bassn. I know it's hard not to wish the worst for him but everyone makes mistakes and in my eyes stealing the smallest item to 19,000 worth of merchandise is all the same. He's our brother and fellow angler and I wish the best for him. He's gonna do his time and pay for what he did and hopefully when he comes back he will be a better and honest man. As for my personal experience with him, he taught me a ton. I stink at cranking and he would always be there to answer any question I had. Dude knew his $hit.
  21. WOW. Unbelievable. The_Natural has given me tons of advice and has really helped me over the years. Just blows my mind that this was going on. Hope everything works out
  22. Sorry to hear about the stones. My dad told me it's like trying to pee out a sea urchin. I hope I never get one!!!!
  23. It really just depends. On some baits like finesse worms, I carry tons of different colors, but on jig trailers, soft jerkbaits, and senkos, I only carry 2 or 3. I feel that when fish are eating the finesse worms, color actually can make a difference because of the sensitive bite, but on jigs, jerkbaits, senkos, it's a feeding strike or reaction strike and color doesn't really matter as much as how visible the bait is. It probably doesn't make a difference but it makes me more confident and that's huge.
  24. Just like any other bait, the BBZ Shad has it's place where it will wear them out. I caught some nice fish with it this Summer, but other than that, I haven't tossed it much because I knew it wouldn't work more than another technique. My biggest problem with it is the casting. I really wish they had off played around with this aspect of the bait a little more. IMO, this bait is best used in the late summer by burning it over shallow cover or suspended fish that are up high in the water column.
  25. I was hoping this question would never come up. I guess there are more people out there other than me freakin slaying them with the Rattlesnake. It's a great bait that moves a TON of water. I'm a big fan of the Mineola Fall color. Take a 1/0 Gamakatsu EWG with a 1/32oz. split shot pegged right to the nose and pitch it around shallow cover. Deadly
