  1. [I use to release over the side, but I had a patrol boat that almost caught me. So now I do is Maxwell Coffee Jug. It has a lib and you can sit down and won't get all over the place. As for bowels I do the same thing with immodium. As for the ladies the Maxwell House Jug is large enough also for them. Now I know why Maxwell House Coffee is good to last drop!/b]
  2. I have the same type of boat except mine is a 10E. I have disc problem as well also I had 5 disc removed and bolts & screws with plate in the neck, then I had my rotor cuff operated on twice. So I know how that hurts , what I have done is put one of those padded folding seats from Wal-Mart. As for moving the boat in and out of the truck. I made a cart with straps with 3/4" plywood and I can move it to the pond with my hand just keeping it balanced. I have the motor 55 thrust Minn Kota and battery rods& reels and PFD and drinks. Oh yes you can stand up on those just have to get use to it. Hope this helps! Fish Safe today, if you don't there won't be a tomorrow! Practice Catch, Measure, Photo, Release! ( CMPR ) Dennis
  3. Make sure it floats and don't have any HOLES in it! Also check the transom it may need to be replaced. If everything is okay condition, offer him or her about $550.00-$700.00. That is all it would be worth. Also make sure it has a title and registration for boat & trailer. I know some states don't require trailer registration, but it good to have it anyway! I had bought 2 boats since January and both had major problems, one was a semi V and the other was a Tri-Hull fiberglass. The V-hull had holes from a battery acid, and the other has rotten transom. Good Luck! Dennis
  4. I have almost the same type is that one. Mine is a Pelican 10 E Bass pontoon. What I did for myself is put a seat from (old Wally World) Wal-Mart. It cost me around $30.00 and it is comfortable and I don't get wore out before the day is over.
  5. Great video, with lot of information for those who fish and tried to use them, and never could! Hope you do more videos on other things, like how to use bait-casting rod and reels. Also other information on other lures also. Thanks Dennis
  6. I use to live in Southern NJ, and I couldn't wait till the weeds and Lilly pads started. What I used on the lakes that had all that junk is Purple or Blue Worm 10-12" and make it weedless. Also Frogs, I have several different styles of frogs, like a Super Frog, Mepps frogs and some can't remember all of them. One more for lures, I used a Minnow use a weedless hook. I cast the worm or frog on the pads or slim and let it sit for couple seconds or just under a minute. Then start twitching the lure. Watch for wave or a splash, the bass will hit the lure to make it fall in the water. Like Red Bear stated watch out for the lure coming back to bite you. Good Luck De
  7. My complement on your work and the way it turned out! I really didn't think it would be worth the effort with all the problems you had. Man I was wrong! How did you put a computer hookup in the boat? Great Job! Dennis Rockingham County, NC
