  1. Yeah, so just convert the weight into ounces and round off to the second decimal.
  2. No problem fellow North Carolinian....anytime, you should definitely fish Falls.
  3. How did you get the 41? Is it everyfish you catch after the one you caught the previous time you add on as long as it weighs more?
  4. MIKE IACONELLI, and Alton Jones.
  5. here is a pretty decent article: http://home.comcast.net/~rkrz/infoarch/fyiroadbeds.htm
  6. I love to fish roadbeds especially in the summer, it's one of my go to spots when I am ready to cast out a carolina-rig. Plus the ditches can pretty much always hold a really nice bass.
  7. The creek channel right where the trees are man a killer spot.
  8. then again my friend caught a nice bass on a buzzbait in 58 degree water.
  9. In all do respect for the article, I may have my off year that I don't do well but for the past sixteen years I have been out fishing for bass not much has changed.
  10. Anytype of crankbait usually lipless that has a natural bait fish color to it. Also deepending on the depth their in will let me know how deep to go.
  11. I think you should also keep your mind set on catching fish because you know how to fish, not luck....it all comes into play after you get some tactics down pat.
  12. Dunno where your from but in parts of NC they do so belay your last thank you.
  13. Not a prob that's what we're here for.
  14. Top Water first, like a buzz bait not to slow or fast....then to the spinner bait and I would fish it the same way as the top water bait. Crank bait preferably a lip-less and the color would have to be red craw. Then I would go to a 1/4 once jig blue/black and work the rocks really good. Good Luck.
  15. If you ever need advice im right next door in Durham don't be shy to hit me up on the forums.
  16. Any lure with vibration: Spinner bait preferibly the colorado or tandam blades, buzzbait, lipless crankbait, and a jig with rattle. I use natural colors year round in muddy waters also.
  17. You have to get your state wildlife fisheries involved to stock the pond with different sized bass and other bait fish so that the pond will fulfill the right diet for the bass to grow into big healthy fish.
  18. :-/ :-/Yeah I appreciate all you guys commending our navy, but we still have conflicts in Somalia that need to be dealt with other wise it will be a daily or weekly occurrence. As you know they hijacked 3 more boats ( not the U.S.) last night, so I make my statement true about it happening over and over, that's why we need other countries to help fight these pirates, as you saw on T.V. you mess with us and threatin our citizens or our navy and you will pay the ultimate price!
  19. Yeah we took good care of them pirates! Saddly it will happen over and over.
  20. Falls is great it's not much like those lakes you were asking about cause there isn't much vegitation....but structure wise, man its great!
  21. I'd try heavier weight and make sure you drop shot rig is set up the way it's supposed to be. Useually you do want to be vertical but it will still work from shore.
  22. Bottled water and Deritos and a 12inch sub from subway "eat freah."
  23. Clear lake so you should def look for beds in the pre spawn locations and flats...I would use a lot of natural colors: watermelon seed, pumpkin seed, and def the red and blues. Lots of grass too, and boat docks. Good luck!
