  1. Love the design on front and back. Not so sure about the slogan though. I think leaving people wondering a little bit so they visit the website is always a good thing.
  2. Would be hard to find a better more deserving champion.
  3. Fishing is a waste of time. Catching is worth all the time you wasted fishing.
  4. Had the upright box - hated it. Blades and hooks would get tangled and it was difficult to tell spinnerbaits apart when they were similar colors Had the flat box- hated it. Didn't like the fact I had to bend the wires to store them and they would always pop lose causing the bait to get tangled with the other ones. Plus it took up allot of space. Tackle bag - best solution so far. Can keep baits separate and doesn't take up much space. No wire bending either. Eventually someone will come up with an ingenious solution to this question and will be an instant millionaire. I just hope it's me.
  5. It's a good reel for $99.the one I have was grindy on the cast and retrieve at first but some cleaning and grease solved that easily. I use it on a Veritas winch for lipless cranks and now it will launch those baits. Once or twice the clutch reengaged during the cast and scared the hell outta me but it may be user error as I am quick to press and throw.
  6. Jason for sure. He can kill ya while you're awake or sleeping, something Freddy can't do.
  7. I can't remember exactly how the story goes but basically I was fishin with the wife who does not fish. She was tanning on the back deck and asked why I was so quiet. I told we had to be quiet or it would spook the fish. She said so you are like a bass ninja? Yes honey "Ima bass ninja"
  8. I have my t3 mx mounted on a 6'9 veritas mh/xf works perfectly for what you want to do and looks very sleek together ..
  9. Sorry for the loss man. They are mans best friend for a reason and it is never easy to let them go.
  10. I have a wide spool PQ spinning reel and it it a great reel. It may have a little less line twist but it's not leaps and bounds above a regar reel. I love the wide spool though and If I ever get another spinning reel it would be a PQ or pfluger arbor( same thing basically)
  11. I felt it here in Lexington man. Crazy stuff going on in good ole SC these days. Aiken looked like it got hit pretty hard with the ice lots of people without power for days. Some still without. Waiting for the one bass that lives in lake murray to go belly up as the last sign of the apocalypse.
  12. Oh to many to count. Becoming Fan of the new ones like tangled , princess and the frog, frozen and brave. Despicable me is my favorite of all even though its not Disney. Now all I need is the kids so it's not weird that I watch these movies.
  13. My dad works at US 5. I work at Bridgestone making the ultra large radial tires.
  14. Haven't used the less but the president for 79.00 is a steal! Great reel love mine.
  15. The best post in the history of ever...it should be pinned, stickyed and written on a chalk board 100x by all who understand or have/will contribute to this thread.
  16. Holy crap you actually fish?
  17. I guess me and WW2 are the only ones stil left on the veritas bandwagon. These are great crankin rods.
  18. I use em and love em especially the smaller ones.
  19. I have this 2 piece rod and it works great. Oddly enough I also have a PQ mounted on it. http://www.gandermountain.com/modperl/product/details.cgi?pdesc=Quantum-Response-Baitcasting-Rod-REMC702M-70-Medium-2-pc&i=726945&r=view&cvsfa=2586&cvsfe=2&cvsfhu=373236393435
  20. I wouldn't switch any combos around but I would use the PQ/mx combo for trig, tube bottom contact presentation and the triumph/JM combo for lipless etc applications. Reason being that a slower action rod will be better for treble hook applications. JMHO.
  21. I have a 4S and For water application life proof works well. However I have owned 2 and neither lasted more than a year. Otter box is just way to bulky so I settled on a ballistic case. $24 from amazon not waterproof but it slim enough to put in and out of my pocket and so far has lasted longer than the life proof case. http://www.amazon.com/Ballistic-EV0890-M185-Every1-Case-iPhone/dp/B0092Y9MXQ/ref=sr_1_22?ie=UTF8&qid=1390771451&sr=8-22&keywords=ballistic+iphone+4s+case
  22. Lots of truth in this post. Especially the part about going back. Heres my story. I was always a big fan for the pure fishing line. I bought several reels of same design/ different company and was complete happy....or so I thought. Then I went to Japan and had a friend by me a t3mx for my bday. Didn't seems like anything special at the time but when I got out on the water I found myself using this reel more than the others. Then I got a alphas finesse and now am even more impressed with the higher end stuff. I will not be buying 300-400 reels but it has made me come off my $100 only price tag for reels. I usually try to find the higher end stuff on sale and then I feel complete.
  23. Refinement, more expensive components, tolerances, QC, R&D and customer demand are all factors for high price tags on any consumer item. The steez is a great reel and once you fish it side by side with a less expensive reel you will probably notice a difference. Is that difference worth the extra money is a personal decision. It's enthusiasts tackle. Just like people that spend major money on sport, muscle cars. You sir now own the Lamborghini of bass fishing! Enjoy!
  24. Actually it's 2 years. That's when most "upgrades" are available and contracts are renewed.
