  1. So is order the package goes to the same as listed above?
  2. Oh that's easy..When there's more hair on your butt than your head you are officially bald. ;D ;D ;D I'm not there quite yet but it won't be long >
  3. you need to get in this one Chrome....As a matter of fact i'll even let you get the box right before me ;D ;D ;D ;D...J/K.....seriously this one will be good so come join us.
  4. I read some reviews/opinions somewhere but can't for the life of me remember where or i would post a link. I do remember that the overall consensus was not that good, but i do not have first hand knowledge on it.
  5. I can't tell if that is sarcastic or not. Following along with the thread, seems like ol' BC made out like a bandit. Now guys ,we can't let the bad judgement, immaturity, or lack of knowledge of one person derail what could be a promising thing can we? Yes i understand all the things that can go wrong but if you get 10 good, moral people, then they will be able to show a forum of 31000 how great it could be. I am glad to be participating in the next one, i hope to get some things i might not normally be able to get (and put in MORE than i take..remember, its better to give than receive). Sounds like you 2 would be great candidates for the next one. Positive action will always win over negative talk, so i encourage you to step up and participate, and lets redeem the lure swap to give a more positive outlook to those following along as we have.
  6. Here ya go: http://www.clemson.edu/extension/hgic/pests/pesticide/hgic2771.html
  7. 6'6" M fast action for my jerkbait rod. (vendetta to be specific)
  8. My suggestion would be to make one rod for faster moving baits(spinners, cranks etc) and put the yo-zuri on it 12#. Its been my experience that on fast moving lures the line matters very little cause its in the strike zone for such a short amount of time. Also trow the top water bait on this set-up. The other rod i would use for your tex rigs, jerkbaits, slower presentation and would put the flouro (15#) on that one. Line will definitely matter if the fish is gonna get a good look at the bait.
  9. Most people do. I tried the snap thing, but found that some cranks it was very hard to get the snap through the wire loop so i went back to split rings and tying direct.
  10. Last year was Storm Big Bass square bill texas craw color for shallow water and Normans D22 for deep. This year i will probably still throw those but i'm also going to try the Strike King 4s square bill for shallow and Strike King 6xd for deep. For some reason those SK's have really caught my eye, i sure hope they catch the fishes too!! ;D ;D
  11. I was wondering what exactly you can learn by the color of a bass you caught? I heard KVD on shows talk about catching and knowing that the fish just moved in that area by their color. I was wondering how he knew this? Are they lighter than usual or darker? And what other things can you tell by looking at the color of a fish you just caught?
  12. Sweet pics man!! i really like the 3rd one where he's focused on his target and ready to dive
  13. This year i am really going to try and NOT fall outta the boat. Also i would like very much if i could make it through a whole year without throwing my line cutter(pliers or fingernail clippers) overboard after i'm done re-tieing.
  14. I've never had a problem with them either. They come on the Storm Big bass crank baits(one of my favorites) and i caught plenty of fish last year on 'em. Now that i think about it i don't believe i lost a fish on those lures.
  15. Just wondering how many of you have stickers on your boat windshield? I have 2....1 is a Clemson tiger sticker(GO TIGERS!!) and the other is a Daiwa which is what most of my rods are.
  16. I would agree with the exception that it becomes a profitable venue. Then i would bet good money the NCAA would get their hands in it.
  17. First boat was a bass hunter w/ original 19# thrust trolling motor and seats. Paid $50 for it used and still use it for pond fishing, although i did upgrade to a 31# trolling motor .
  18. Rod socks my man. Have you seen the video of Shaw grigsby boat? If not check it out he has a lot of rods( 15-20) in 1 locker and even pulled one from the bottom with no problems. I have some homemade ones and they work extremely well.
  19. No conferences and no national title because NCAA does not recognize fishing as a sport. If they did, then it would go to conference play and a national championship. Hence the question, Would that ruin college bass fishing? One thing you can bet, if the FLW starts to profit off of college fishing ,then the NCAA will scoot right on in.

  21. Top : Garnet gill Bottom: blue speck gill craw.
  22. Sport is defined as: sport [ch8194] [ch8194]/sp[ch596]rt, spo[ch650]rt/ Show Spelled[spawrt, spohrt] Show IPA noun 1. an athletic activity requiring skill or physical prowess and often of a competitive nature, as racing, baseball, tennis, golf, bowling, wrestling, boxing, hunting, fishing, etc. Define Athlete: ath·lete [ch8194] [ch8194]/[ch712]æ[ch952]lit/ Show Spelled[ath-leet] Show IPA noun a person trained or gifted in exercises or contests involving physical agility, stamina, or strength; a participant in a sport, exercise, or game requiring physical skill. If you go by definitions then a professional fisherman is an Athlete. He is trained (and most are gifted) in an activity requiring skill, therefore he is an athlete.
  23. if you were smart you would have dusted it right when I put it up, I have been so busy I probably would have forgot all about it lol Its all good, LOL. Bonus advertising for you. Besides, they don't know my spots. (Quiet ww2, they're actually Noel's spots, and I'm sworn to secrecy ) Well since he was nice and didn't snuff u how bout naming it Franch-O's or Franch-O-Fry ;D "hey can i order 5 bags of Franch-O's in transparent purple please?"..hmm yea tha'd work ;D
  24. Wow 3 post in a row...what you tryin to get your post count up?? ;D ;D ;D....Just messin
  25. Don't overthink it Rod-heavy power is usually best (any rods heavy action will work brands matters very little). 7'6" is gonna give you the best flipping distance and hooksetting power. (although i use a 6'6" H sometimes just to be extra accurate) Line- braid is probably best. Use a flouro leader if you think visability is a problem Terminal-1/2 oz- 1 oz weights. Tungsten seem to be favorites although i use a 1oz lead bullet for heavy flippin.
