  1. To solve the problem: have the grandkids and skip the kids. If they get loud just send them home.
  2. Now that's funny right there!
  3. That be muddy - any dark color plastic will do.
  4. Not that I agree with it, but most stores don't honor internet catalog prices - shipping handling and all that stuff makes the stores inventory more costly.
  5. Outlook users Much has been made of Information Rights Management in Outlook/Windows 2003. But for years, organizations with 100% Outlook users have been capable of achieving a small level of the same functionality with custom Outlook forms. First, create the custom form: 1. Create a new message 2. Tools | Forms | Design This Form 3. Click on the Actions tab 4. Double click on "Forward" and "Reply to All" and disable them 5. Click on the Properties tab 6. Check "Send form definition with item" 7. Tools | Forms | Publish Form As 8. In the "Look In" field, choose your personal forms library and give it a name such as "NoReplyAllOrForward" At step 7, you could also File | Save As and save the form as an OFT in the filesystem. Then, send mail to others using the custom form: 1. Tools | Choose Form (or double-click the OFT you saved on your hard drive) 2. In the "Look In" field, choose your personal forms library 3. A new mail message will come up. If you went to Tools | Forms | Design This Form, the changes you made above would be visible. 4. Type in the recipients/subject/body/etc and send the message Now when the people you sent the mail to open it, the "Reply All" and "Forward" buttons will not be available on the toolbar. Similarly, the keyboard shortcuts like Ctrl+F will not work. Of course this doesn't go nearly as far as true IRM, since the recipient could still copy the contents from the mail and paste it into a new one and forward that around. This is more useful as a "gentle reminder" not to "me too" reply all to a large mailing list, or not to forward something semi-private. Note: This tip only works if the recipients are using Outlook. Outlook Web Access, Outlook Express and other mail clients don't understand Outlook's custom forms. Courtesy of Microsoft
  6. Key in that "article" was the first word of the third paragraph: Advertisement
  7. Watch out for that sudden stop when you hit some of that Florida wood. I would not recommend it!
  8. More than likely the tank has overflow - feel at the top of the livewell: (rear center for each side) for the possibility of plugs.
  9. Sounds more like a water pump problem than oil.
  10. Mary Jane, and Hart, found in Moss County Park off Moss Park Road which is off 15 just south of 528, is supposed to be a well kept secret - shhhh.
  11. Most "match prices" advertisements state they will only match store advertised prices and not internet advertised prices. This for the most part, is because internet advertising is not necessarily current pricing. BPS Policy: Price matching with competitors: Competitor price matching requests will be granted if the prices are current, dated and nationally advertised. The following exceptions are applicable: All conditions on ad will apply (i.e. limited quantities, special purchases.) * Items to be price matched must be an exact match (i.e. color, pattern, model size, and year.) * Bass Pro Shops will not honor prices on closeouts, clearance items, inventory reductions, special buys, discontinued, or reconditioned merchandise. * Website prices will only be honored from established retail companies that are open to the public and have a physical address. * Bass Pro Shops will not honor supply companies, wholesale, clearance outlets, manufacturer's sales or membership clubs (Sam's, Costco) * We will not match private label merchandise. * We will not honor "buy one, get one free" offers. * We will not honor free bonus offers. * We will not honor rebates. * We will not backorder any out-of-stock item. * We will not honor any reduced or free shipping offers. * Publication errors of any kind will not be matched. * All price matches must be verifiable; a verifiable copy of the ad, complete with store name, sale dates, and model number of item must be faxed (417-873-5056) or mailed to us-Bass Pro Shops, Attn: Customer Service, 2500 E Kearney, Springfield, MO 65898 * Request for price match must be received prior to end of competitor's sale. * Orders can be price matched within 30 days of purchase. All price matches are subject to approval.
  12. Congratulations - Best wishes to you and yours.
  13. I doubt seriously that after he looks into getting insurance, paying his taxes to the IRS, getting county and city business licenses, and filing monthly sales tax reports, that he will be interested in this adventure. In addition, it's tough when a boat comes back with a blown engine, or a skeg busted off, etc. It's a tough business.
  14. There is a "other fish species" area.
  15. Wow! I did think I was smarter than the medical field until I came a hair's breath from dying. Now I listen to them.
  16. Bass are as smart as the fisherman that is fishing for them which is why I am glad that I am as dumb as rocks.
  17. Use these and you will never worry about bunks again. http://www.ultimatebunkboards.com/index.html
  18. Send rods to destination ahead of time by USPS or UPS. It will save the airport hassle and broken equipment.
  19. The hardest thing to learn about fishing is that it indeed fishing and not catching. Losing a fish is part of the game. Disappointed yes - angry no.
  20. If you really want an answer to your question there are thousands of papers written on the subject to include alternatives that are non-toxic to include tungsten/nickle alloy. http://www.pca.state.mn.us/oea/reduce/sinkers.cfm
  21. Why accept guesses? Take the boat to where you got it from and let them show you what's right, and what equipment you have on board.
  22. Hey Larry: see you on the lake.
  23. The heat is on but the fishing remains much the same as it has for the bulk of the summer. The bass are being located along the old submerged irrigation ditches of Farm 13 with the occasional bass being found on the Marsh. Of particular interest has been the center ditches, both E/W and N/S. However ignoring the other ditches could be a mistake. One of the trips out in the area was to Goodwin, (a small lake just north of the Marsh/Farm. Don Willis and I ventured forth in is aluminum boat for a 1/2 day of quiet and fun. Big fish of the morning was caught by Don just prior to quitting. Catches on the Marsh have been averaging between 15-20 fish, but there have been some tough days also that netted far less. However even with numbers down every day has seen at least one big bass. Unfortunately, not all have made it closer than the side of the boat as adrenalin kicked in and caused a brief brain failure. On those days that the wind doesn't blow it can be just a bit warm out there, however most days that I have fished we have been lucky and had some breeze for at least part of the day. Water levels are up so navigation isn't much of an issue at this time. The chance of hitting an unseen stump or floater are still there however so be cautious. Road conditions have been good compared to years gone by, but travel enough and it will get you. I just had to spend $1000.00 on front end work on the truck which is a ritual every few years. See you out there: say hi if you get the chance.
