If you are going to be throwing 3 oz. baits, I would consider going to a 300 size reel. My Tatula 200 doesn't perform as well as my tatula 300 in the 3 oz range.
I sorta feel bad for younger kids that grew up in the 80's, 90's and 2000's. So many restrictions in place. Not to get into the political stuff. But growing up in the 50's and being a teen in the 60's is something I wish kids these days could experience.
My only concern with the MH/F is hooksets would be a issue, due to softer tip. I frog with a 7'4" H/XF. If you can go with the H/F that would be better imho.

Also, ya might consider the Mattlures U2 bluegil and crappie swimbaits. These run 18.99. They catch fish, and are fairly durable. I have about a dozen of them.
Not sure how you would feel about round reels, but Shimano has a Cardiff 200 with a 5:8-1 reel. Price is 129.99 at TW. I've had a Cardiff in the past for tossin large swimbaits, worked very well. Anyhow, just a thought.
On edit, the price is Not 19.99, but 129.99, sorry, bout that..
Born in 1948.
Here in so. cali, we had simple things like the Good Humor ice cream truck that drove around neighborhoods. We also had the Helms bakery truck, great donuts, especially the jelly filled donuts.
You could walk to the out lying of homes and pick figs, pomegranates ect. to snack on.
Sort of as needed, but, with mono usually once a year, unless that reel see heavy use. Only have 1 reel with fluro, and that could last for a few years, as I don't use it as often as my other rigs.
Braid, only when the spool gets low. Which isn't very often.
Just to add a piece of advice if your hanging unfinished solid exterior doors. Seal the top, and bottoms and even the the mortise where the hinges mount. If you don't , bet your bottom dollar that door will warp after time.
Hanging timely 8' doors was always fun..lol
