I trim mine, and depending on the skirt, I may trim those also.

2 days ago, the fedx guy basically Threw a package in the middle of my front lawn. We have a 3' fence, with 2 gates that are Easily accessible, but apparently he was to dang Lazy to walk 10 more feet to get to them and put the package on our front porch. Why are these guys so dam lazy.?

Nothing new. Fishing in stained waters turns my fluro, and even my mono turns a bland green color. Doesn't hurt anything, just looks ugly imho.

Only use reel covers to protect my reels during transport in the bed of my truck, been doing that for many years. Rods never seem to get any damage, the reel covers protect against any rash that may happen. I also keep the reel covers on when I know my rigs maybe sitting for a time, just to keep the dust off em.
