  1. Nice goin,..I wish someone would offer Senco's for under 4.00 a bag around me..cuz I really, really NEED em... ;D
  2. In Bill Dance's case they couild have spent a few days shootin a 30 min. show...what with all his accidents and such..lol.....jk
  3. Congratz...great lookin fish!!!..I declare..I need to move to Texas..I can't seem to break the 5.5 mark...lol
  4. I like the show, especially the underwater footage. Be nice if they fished some lake here on the west coast.
  5. I'm placing an order for some next week..
  6. My first choice would be to toss a weightless Senco rigged whacky style. If that didn't work, I'd try to get em to hit a jig, with a trailer.
  7. I use em all year..one of my favorit baits.
  8. Good on ya Quinn..... 8-)
  9. 12 lb test Yo Zuri hybrid ultra soft..so far the best line I've used.. 8-)
  10. Awesome smallies...and great pic's..congratz.
  11. That's a purdy fish..and healthy too..still waitin for my dd lmb..
  12. I been thinkin bout gettin some of those ragetails..your pic's just sealed the deal, nice work..btw those fish look really healthy.
  13. Exactly...we all...well some of us don't always catch fish. The ole sayin holds true though..A bad day fishin is way better than a good at work..
  14. I think it's the product not being consistant in quality. For example, I have an older BPS extrem bc'r, that works very well as does my Son, cept he has the Fritts model. I also have a BPS finesse rod, even though I broke it..I'm returning it to get a replacement. I think it depends on who they get parts from and who assembles the products that make them hit or miss. just my 3 pesos. BTW, if I could afford better gear, I'd probably buy it over bps.
  15. So far, drop shoting a Senco has been my goto bait for those temps. However, I bought some Zoom flukes, for weightless jerk baits, I'll see how those work.
  16. Any of your guys use the Mojo drop shot weights..? I bought a pack to try, they seem to work.. here's a link to em. http://store.mojolures.com/mojoluresrigsaver.aspx
  17. O.K...thought you may have done a bearing upgrade or something too..
  18. I'd say if your cacthin 5-6 lb'rs..be happy, I know I would. If the state record is 10 lbs. I think your doin good with the weight you posted regardless if you want to treat them as 10 lb'rs or not..
  19. Being in so cali, and with our lakes to heavily pressured, I always try to toss something different, which is no easy task..
  20. I been using Bang in the shad scent...to be honest, I can't tell if it works, or not.. :-[
  21. Have a 65 lb pitbull..he has way to much energy to take fishing, even when I shore fish..dogs aren't allowed of leash, and definitly not allowed in the water, which is where he'd prefer to be...lol And he hates having his picture taken.. ;D
  22. If you haven't already, try a Slow retrive, i.e. cast, let your bait sit for 30 secs...the twitch it a couple times, let it sit for 10 or 15 secs..then retrive with 1 or 2 slow turns of the reel..as an example, but slow is better than fast in colder water. Also, if possible to do so, try dropshotting wacky style with a senco or finesse worm..that'll get em..
