  1. Spinning rigs are da bomb yo... ;D I can do anything with a spinning rig, you can do with a BC..I own both types and use them regularly..
  2. Another vote for the Shara, I have the 2500, and love it..Tough to beat for about $80.00
  3. Credit card...imho, his baits are well worth the $$$ he gets and then some..save your pennies..
  4. That Man is what people should be about, good Karma to him..you only get what you give, my guess is he's a rich man, not nessesarrly money wise...
  5. So...I had a slight problem with a hindge on my Mattlures hard bluegill. I e-mailed Matt a couple of times to ask if there's anything I could do to fix the problem, he recomended a couple of things, which I tried to no avail..so he said send it to me, and I'll get you another. In less than a week I sent mine out, and recived my new swimbait in the mail today. All I can say is that's GREAT service, no questions were asked, Matt just took care of biz. It's to bad all compamies don't offer customer service like Matt does. I'm a customer for life.. Thanks Matt. 8-)

  12. Saweet..congratz on your PB..Megastrike..yup!
  13. Think I'll go with the trout....thanks for the heads up..
  14. Keeep in mind, that if your gettin the hard bluegill, sinker, or floater, they won't cast all that far due to the shape of the lure, compared to say a 6 or 8" trout swimbait..I have the floater, my rig is a Chronarch 101 BPV with a 7'6" Calcutta mh/f rod, rated up to 2oz..my hradgill weighs 1.65 oz. The hard gill can be worked a number of ways, from burning it, to walkin the dog, with mine, I can twitch the rod and make the bait do a 180* turn, not sure if you can do that with the sinker. PM Matt, he can give you the best advice on how to fish it....
  15. Well, I'm totally envious..nice goin guys..wish we had lakes like that around here... :-/
  16. Never tried that. But, as a kid we use to use sparkplugs as sinkers if we didn't have $$$ to buy real ones...lol
  17. Well, I'm losing my confidence at a pretty fast rate..went to a well known bass lake yesterday and got a big SKUNK!..even though I was "trying " to target larger bass, i.e. throwing jig's, larger worms, swimbaits ect. where I thought the bigger fish may be..My buddy was tossin 4" worms on a dropshot, and got all of 3 fish, in water 10' or less, while I worked the deeper water. I'm pretty sure I coulda got a couple of fish IF I had worked a dropshot, but chose not to. I'm startin to think I have a bad juju or something..? :-[
  18. Burn em, slowroll em, jig em, a fast retrive, for a few feet, stop and twitch, you can do tons on variations..experiment with depts, fast and slow retives, mix up the twitches. Note: on a long cast, I'll reel 2 or 3 cranks then in a side motion, I whip my rod as if I were setting the hook, sometimes I keep my rod at 1 to 2 oclock, reel a few times, then let the spinner bait die, then give a jerk or 2 upwards.
  19. That sounds about right....cept, which bass was his first..???
  20. That's why I was asking, cuz it makes no Sense to me either.
  21. I'm confused, you caught 25 lmb's and you "took off your 1st bass"...? took it off what..?
  22. Great vid...That Hobbie yak is awesome..and so is alot of other stuff... 8-)
