  1. I just bought a Quantum code 7 to 1 burner reel and am going to use it for frogs, and topwater. What type of rod should I be looking for, something from BPS. I am heading down in a couple of weeks to get some new gear for the year. Thanks.
  2. Just picked up a new Quantum Code Baitcaster with the new 7:1 burner. I think I am going to use this reel for frogs, topwater, and soft plastic fishing. What type of rod should I get for this new reel and fishing aplications. Thanks
  3. Sounds good guys, thanks
  4. Anybody check out this new Daiwa 4.9 cranking reel? Sounds pretty sweet, just saw the add in Bass times. $269 though, think its worth it guys, thinking about getting one.
  5. I was at Gander Mt. and they have the energy baitcaster for $100, man I wanted to get it right then and there, but didnt have the cash. They also have the accurist combo for $99 also. I think I might pick up both.
  6. Just giving a shout out to all those who are from Michigan. I am new to the sight.. Let me see who we have on here. Shawn
  7. Hello guys, I just got back into fishing. I used to fish with my grandfather for bluegills. Now my passion is Bass fishing. I am now a B.A.S.S member and read every magazine page to page to gain all the knowledge I can. I have been bass fishing for about a year now and I love it. I am out to get my first 5lb. bass this year. Love the site so far, its great information, thanks Shawn
  8. Thanks the nextKVD love that. Great info.
  9. I am wondering what the main difference in the two lines are. I am trying to figure out what line to use for my three rod and reel combos. I will be using a 7:01 burner reel for my spinnerbaits , what line should I be using for that, I will have a differnet reel for my crankbaits, and what line should I use for my topwaters. Thanks. I am new to the site and cant wait to learn some new things. Shawn
