  1. What would you do? I'm thinking lipless cranks and chatterbaits
  2. Thanks Glenn! Great information. You're a natural in front of the camera
  3. These caught my attention...I hope they catch the fishes attention ;D
  4. Trust me, they don't factor into when I fish. I fish whenever I can. My thoughts were should I be keying on what I believe are the hotspots during the peak times, and does the peak times dictate in anyway what might be a hotspot. I'm probably over complicating this, but I'd like to hear more of TR21 or WRB strategies.
  5. I can't comment on the Daiwa L&T, but I have 2 Lowriders that are 2 years old (spinnerbait special & weightless worm) and am very pleased with them. The actions are true to the specs, and I have not had any hardware issues.
  6. We have all heard about the peak times and moon phases. How does everyone figure them into their attack plans and patterns (if at all) when fishing a body of water?
  7. That's a nice surprise on the end of a buzzbait!
  8. Actually have one of them and that is also going to be something I try. Thanks
  9. Okay guys. Have a tourney on a typical south jersey 100 acre puddle with average depth of about 3 ft. The weather has been real crazy. Heavy rain Thursday night through Friday, but the temps were in the high 60's. The winds been howling all day today. How would you approach this situation? Oh and we'll probably have about 15 boats. I'm guessing water temps will be in the high 50's. Shad are a major bait fish, so I was thinking of throwing my tru-tungsten shad. Carolina rig the deeper 3-6 ft areas and also a point that comes out from 4 ft water to the 8ft water. There is a cove on each side of that point. I know one has a hard bottom. I'm not sure what I'm going to throw through there maybe a spinner or shallow crank. Any other ideas??? Thanks for your help I have a map, but can't figure out how to change it from a .pdf to a .jpeg
  10. Good Luck guys 8-) Me and my son will be beatin' the banks in that area
  11. If it's the guy I'm thinking of he did it in Pennsylvania. Alot of it was small farm ponds. I think his day job is a motivational speaker.
  12. Try sticking a small piece of nail weight in one end or a rattle. Makes it fall just a little off center and provides a little different look. I can't say I catch my bigger fish on a wacky rig, but I have caught a good number of 'em
  13. Can't say more than what has already been said! Nail in the tail hmmmm
  14. Here is another good sight. Susquehanna Fishing Tackle. If they don't have it on their sight, give them a call, they usually have it in the store. Real nice people too. http://sfttackle.com/
  15. It's the only lipless bait I have ever caught any fish on
  16. I've had one for 2 years now. I switched out the boxes for 5 Plano 3700 bulk storage boxes and the Falcon hook and weight organizer. It does weigh a ton though
  17. I was surprised at the size also. We're still iced in, but I'm hoping that it is everything that all the rave is about.
  18. I have 2 that I bought last year and they are very good reels. I have the burner and the 6.3 gears. I agree they are a bit heavy, but they are workhorses. I also have an Accurist which is a good reel. They should serve you well.
  19. 2nd that
  20. The countdown will not suspend. Once you stop reeling it will continue to fall. Can't say enough about the original rapala. It is a go to for me in the spring.
  21. I'm looking to get a few swimbaits to experiment with. I have a couple of the MattLures Ultimate Bluegills and was looking at the Fish Arrow Flat Jack. I was wondering if anybody has used them and what their opinions are. I did a search but didn't come up with anything. Thanks for your opinions
  22. I guess that is proof to give them babies a try
  23. In case you're wondering he's talking about Tackle Warehouse
