  1. justin im south of you in appleton and this weeks temps should get the fish moving. we are only 38 in the river here but its slowly coming up. cant hurt to try
  2. today i went and fished little butte in appleton for a while for smallies on the friendship tral and picked up 6 in a couple hours but i had to fish tubes really slow. not sure on the water temps though
  3. my vote would be the denali jadewood. you wont be dissepointed
  4. the rage craws are all i use to tip my jigs. nothing else works like a rage craw for me.
  5. those loomis rods have been sitting on the shelves for as long as i can remember
  6. they are great jigs, even better for cold front condition.
  7. why not take a look at the Denali Jadewood 842CB its a 7ft med fast rod , at $89 its a great deal that wont break the bank and i feel fishes in the $100-180 class. ive fished the abu vendettas and vertas and feel those are very dead compared to these jadewoods. its just another option i think is worth a look. kelly
  8. megastrike is all i use for scents. it also helps baits come through weeds alot better too.it wont be your last tube it works really well and stays on the bait better them most that i have used.
  9. great rods, i have the 7mf spinning rod and love it. its a very versitile rod. i also have a 7ftmf casting and love that too. great rods a little pricy but man they are sure sweet.
  10. i hear ya man. i tend to stay away from winneceptic and go to green lake to fish. i have way better luck on big and little green anyway. unless im smallie fishing then ive got the fox
  11. gotta go with the kelly j haha but all joking aside i do like the kelly j bait alot
  12. i throw alot of wisconsin swim jigs from dozer with either GYCB double hula grubs or kalins glubs and have had alot of success this year, its been my go to bait this year. the chartruse shad and bluegill color have been dynomite this year.
  13. I am just wondering if anyone else has used these carboonlite reels from bps? I have had good luck with the 6 that i own now, i sold all my quantums to go to these reels. im just wondering is anyone else uses them and if they like them or have had any problems with them. kelly
  14. i had a code as my first baitcaster and it was a good beginner reel but honestly i thinkg a pro qaulifier is a much better reel for the same price. nothing wrong with the code i just thought it was a good entry level reel for a beginner. once i stepped up the the energy i was suprised how much better the energy casted. now i have all BPS carbonlite reels and will never go back to quantum. not that they are bad but i like the new CL reels so much better then any quantum reel i ever owned from the energy to the tour. kelly
  15. i had a couple set of half jackets but switched over to rudy project glasses cause they seem to fit my face better but there is nothing wrong with aokleys they are really nice glasses
