DevCon is the BEST. Might have to go to Lowes to get it now, What is the best place to get it now?? Wal-Mart no longer has it where Im at in central texas. I use it to clear coat with too. Tuff stuff. If clear coating use the stuff that doesn set up fast and turn it if you can like flex coat. jarod

I know that crawdads do not have big eye balls, if anything sometimes they are small red ones. BUT - Bass love eye balls, and your bites will go up with eyes, I have caught more fish on jigs after i started pouring the poison heads. They are a MUST with swimming jigs. The more realistic the better. I even glue eyes and coat my bullet weights - Call me crazy but I get more bites. Eyes are a go! 5 /32 please The only situation i see that they dont make a difference is in very dense cover - grass or brush, but if your pouring a poison head, then you cant make it without eyes, its against the rules.

Go to Do-It and look at the 2009 products, they have a tube now for this pupose. I cant post the link for you im sorry. Also you can look at Home Depot, sometimes they have brass tubes that work ok,,,,, but i always seem to burn the weedgaurd somehow. Drilling with drill press at the perfect angle, then glueing them in with Devcon 2T is the best way in my opinion. There is no pulling them out then. I sometimes glue them in after the skirt but only if im hand tying.
