It was many years ago at a cousins private pond(20 acres) In the Eastern part of NC.
On 4 successive casts I landed a 5 a 4+ a 3+ and another 5. All were caught on a Mann's augertail blackberry worm off of laydowns. It was unreal and after the last fish I simply put my rod down and let my buddy fish for another hour while I worked the trolling motor.
I have never come close to equaling that day and more than likely never will. We had caught several before those 4 fateful casts also.
The simplicity of that day was unreal. I owned two rod and reels,(which at that time In my life was a big deal) a small hard sided Plano tackle box, and didn't have the foresight to Include a camera. Thinking back on those times I laugh to myself about how many fish were caught and how basic and simple everything was as compared to today.
