  1. Welcome...............
  2. While I like the sweet beavers I fish the smallie beavers as much or more. I use the smallie beavers as a jig trailer also. I really like the new "black light" color but normally fish black/red flake, fried watermelon, and white trash.......... I always have one rigged and ready, always.
  3. Siebert Outdoor jigs are the best I have ever used. I like the colors black, black/red, falcon craw, and bluegill. The highly competitive price, quality product, and wide range of products are great. The customer service Is top notch and talking to Mike is like talking to a fishing buddy you've known your entire life. I mainly use 1/4 oz. simply because the majority of the guys on my home lake are throwing 1/2 oz. or larger and I think downsizing In this situation gives me the best chance to catch fish. At night I always throw 3/8 or above simply for the profile and water displacement.
  4. The willingness of the majority of the members here to share what they know freely Is uncommon. There are certain things I have practiced(jig trailers for example) since I learned to bass fish and through reading and questions something will pique my Interest and I learned a different way to do something that Is much better. This place has taught me to think about different ways to do things, different baits to throw when conventional wisdom said "no way", and as much as anything a confidence to give back to a place that continually gives. I couldn't agree with Slonezp more about how great it Is to have a relatively drama free place that Is "just fishing".

  11. Custom made square bills from a board member.....Tn. shad...
  12. My daddy.......Like Nitro I have the first rod he "made" me. It's a real cane pole and I caught aplenty of bream on that thing.
  13. Welcome from the Hickory area! I used to live down Pender county way and have access to 3 private ponds down that way that I fish 3-4 times a year.
