  1. I looked at them and they seem to be the perfect size, could i fit buzzbaits in them or is it just spinners?
  2. You should get THE BIG ONE http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_44423_100011010_100000000_100011000_100-11-10 I dont use mine anymore, but when i did i had ALL my soft plastics in the top compartment. There is always room for more storage lol ;D
  3. LOL he called it stuppid right before the attack
  4. i bought the XPS stalker tackle backpack http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_10200527____SearchResults Just one problem, there is no room for a spinner bait box! There are A LOT of side pockets, i dont feel like ordering a spinnerbait binder from BPS for i just put in a order and didnt think about the binder. So is there anything i can use that would work like a spinnerbait binder? That i dont have to go to BPS or gander mountain to get? The biggest pocket i can fit stuff in is 9inx7in
  5. Im in the same boat as you mate. My grandpa got me into fishing by givin me all his old stuff, he died 3 weeks ago, 89. Great man. Your in my thoughts bro.
  6. I was just wondering what is the earliest that you go out for bass fishing? Do you guys sometimes go before the season starts? If so what do you guys use?
  7. My local tackle store? Walmart, gander mountain, point is there ain't any by me, i just order from BPS. If there was a mom n pop kinda store though, even if it was a few dollars more expensive i would definitely buy from there. It is my dream to open up a tackle store run by myself and fellow fisherman.
  8. So i was gonna buy some 30lb fireline to put on my baitcaster, because where i mainly fish. Then i remembered several posts RW made about yozuri so i looked at it on BPS and its a great deal for the amount of line, so i was thinking ill get 12lb for my BC, and 8lb ultra soft for my spinning rig. I use my BC for everything but soft plastics and jerkbaits. Or is 30lb braid only needed when ill be fishing frogs in late summer?
  9. is that weird? i throw zoom trick worms on shakey head jigs all the time. 8in worms on a 1/4oz jighead and your "powershaking". ;D I love using a trick worm on a shakey head dude!
  10. oh sorry i forgot to metion i was lookin for a floating hollow bodied frog.
  11. Is there a frog that weighs at least 5/8oz and has a body softer than a spro bronzeye? Or is there a way that i can make my spro softer so that i can see the whole fish in my hands instead of a splash on the water?
  12. Dats a lot of soft plastics! mmmmmmm, i would have bought new rods but u got that covered, try some new lures uve never tried before.
  13. I LOVE going to the actual store. I could spend a whole day going through all the soft plastics . But it is a good 2 and half to 3 hours driving, its cheaper to just pay shipping for me.
  14. So if u live in Michigan(or at least the south eastern part) it has been an unusual winter. Not a whole lot a snow, and right now its like 30 degrees when it should be in the teens somewhere. To get to my question; If it has been consistently warmer leading up to the spawn, will the fish spawn earlier? Or are they on a timer?
  15. try just lettin the senko sit their for a minute or maybe more then give it a twitch. Its called deadsticking.
  16. How did you add 3"? What should I cut the blank with when shortening the handle? I might just give up. For some reason it's more of a problem now that it's winter, and didn't seem to bother me during the season. I think it's an issue of tinker-itis. But I still would like to hear about that musky rod. tinker-itis indeed, i went out while it was snowing to check the line memory of my suffix line. but yeah i wanna make my handle look like this one. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_104149_100002006_100000000_100002000_100-2-6?ordProd=Y&CMID=BOTTOM_selectitems#itemDetail I saw a post a while ago of some guy that did it to a rod for his son or somthing. anyone know how to do that?
  17. 25 years ago, it was probably easier to get a job as a teen. I've put in at least 15-20 applications. and haven't gotten a call or anything. All the adults that have been laid off now take the jobs teens would take. Especially since i live in Michigan and live short drive from Detroit. I know that i wont get stuff for nothing, but thats wat i believe them little kids wanting sponsors think
  18. -Catching fish Nah im just playin. But whenever i hear like even the smallest splash, i tend to cast over their like 30 times, usually its a frog goin into the water
  19. You guys ever watch the godzilla movies?
  20. Being age 10-16 or even 18, we just want free stuff. Its hard for kids to get all the nice stuff like a shimano curado E, those expensive swimbaits, or a G. Loomis rod. we just cant afford it. Then we see u guys with jobs and the few with sponsors, talking about your cool fancy equipment. No offense to guys with fancy equipment. We just want the fancy equipment too. And free stuff ;D. I'm only 16 and have more important things to worry about right now. If somebody wants to offer me a sponsorship, woo hoo I'm all for it but I'm not gonna go look for one anytime soon.
  21. First bass I ever caught was with green pumpkin, zoom trick worm.
  22. I'm a shore fisherman and a backpack made with fishing in mind would be perfect for walking up and down the shore and, it looks like its got plenty of room and lots of pockets for all miscellaneous stuff. Anyone ever use it and if so any pros or cons?
  23. Im gonna try to get out there. I've never been to one and im hopin i can go
  24. Well i got some money to spend on some lures from xmas and I'm gonna get and black/red and black/blue 3/8 ounce Booyah boo jig. had the same ones last year but seem to have misplaced them...I never used jig trailers and wanted to get some, i was looking at the paca craws but am unsure about what size or color i should get.
