Sooooooo, The Lions game today, If you haven't seen it you have probably heard about it. Calvin Johnson (one of the best, if not THE best WR) jumps above some dudes. Catches the ball. Lands on two feet. Falls to the ground, his butt and left hand touch the ground. Ball touches ground. CJ leaves the ball on the ground and celebrates (rightfully so). The ref closest to CJ calls it a touchdown and then goes to the booth for review and is called incomplete. BULL BULL BULL BULL BULLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL. Any little kid that has ever played two hand touch, would know that is a fair catch! I just couldn't believe it. First im yelling woo hoo! Then im yelling ****. Just crap, the rule is crap, the refs are crap, and anybody who thinks this was a good and fair ruling is crap. I haven't been fishing for very long but i think that the fish go back into shallower water, after baitfish. Using the same tactics u did in spring is what i am doing.

I prefer redeye shad to rattlin rap and a rattle trap. Redeye shad has a wiggle as it floats down. I love the action. I also think it has more rattle than the original rattle trap.

I don't like to get involved in some of those locked threads, but they sure are fun to read! I don't think i would pay for one little section though.

I will eventually make the switch to tungsten, hopefully next year. The only reason would be the size difference, because i mainly fish in clear water, and the smaller the better. I will probably buy from bulk tungsten or that eco tungsten site.

I dont really notice a difference between keeping them in my boxes, or the original bag. The exception would be Rage Tail products, keep those in them clam cases.

Ya there are a lot of 20lb carp in my canal. I've never gone after them, but i hear corn works great and so do bits of hot dogs. I had a 25lb carp hit on a spinnerbait for who knows what on some 12lb line and it was a great fight!

I've heard that big worms like a 10in Thumper or a Zoom ol' monster worm. I've fished at night only couple times, and it was it was only a few minutes into dark. Bugs were really bad.
