I take those twistie tie things (like on loafs of bread), strip the paper off, and twist it around the R bend, that way I can use snaps on spinnerbaits. I don't lots of rods, so my spinnerbait rod is my crankbait rod is jig rod etc. They don't tangle on me, not any more than tying directly.
I still gotta do this. I just kinda put stuff in it lol. But yeah mine can hold 4 3700s, or 8 3600s but i finally have too much tackle to fit all into my tackle box and gotta figure out what i want in it and what i dont.

Seriously wish i had done this before i turned 18, there were a few kids i would have liked to have body slammed to the floor haha.
Oh, thats what you mean by thumb trick, i thought you were just talking about keeping tension haha. Ya, I've done that with baitcasters since i owned one. Never had a name for.
I can vouch for suffix too. EXCELLENT line and i plan on buying it again, after testing to see how suffix elite handles. Yo-Zuri hybrid is also awesome! If you are worried about your hooksets, loosen the drag a bit.
I'm sure EVERYBODY will enjoy this. It's justing bieber getting shot on CSI, it's the directors cut though. Little graphic but im sure we can all handle it.
