  2. http://www.aolcdn.com/windoid/small_control.html The Toyota Texas Bass Classic (TTBC), the professional bass fishing world championship, will be broadcast nationally on CBS Sports this Saturday, November 21. The broadcast will air from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. CST (2:00 - 3:00 p.m. EST) and will feature highlights from three days of competition, with a focus on the crowning of the 2009 Toyota Texas Bass Classic champion. "This will be a show that no fishing fan wants to miss," said CBS co-host Dave Mercer. "It is three action-packed days slammed into a one hour segment, and these anglers brought in some unbelievable catches. Just to give all the fans a sneak peek, I will let you know it came down to the very last fish caught." The TTBC was held October 16 - 18 on Lake Conroe. For the first year, the TTBC was positioned as the world championship of the PAA Tournament Series and the format was an individual angling competition, making the event a true world championship. The field was comprised of 60 world-class anglers, all qualified members of the PAA who earned spots based on PAA Tournament Series finishes or other merits. This includes some of the most prominent names in the world of tournament bass fishing, like Kevin VanDam, a five-time Toyota Tundra Angler of the Year on the Bassmaster Elite Series, and Clark Wendlandt, the 2009 FLW Tour Angler of the Year. The TTBC focuses heavily on conservation. It adheres to strict size limits and implements a catch, weigh and immediate release format that have earned the event national praise. Through the TTBC, the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department (TPWD) has received $750,000 to benefit their first-class youth fishing and outreach programs. The Toyota Texas Bass Classic is sanctioned by the Professional Anglers Association with technical assistance and support from Texas Parks and Wildlife Department?s Inland Fisheries Division. Title sponsor for the event is Toyota. Dick?s Sporting Goods is the official sporting goods provider. The Saturday Concert is presented by Evan Williams, the official bourbon of the TTBC. MillerCoors is the official beer. 100.3 KILT and SportsRadio 610 are the official radio partners. Phoenix Boats is the official boat of the TTBC. Waste Management is the official trash and recycling partner. The tournament is held on Buffalo Springs, a planned development in the City of Montgomery. 3. Battery Size Codes Batteries come in all different sizes. Many have "group" sizes, which is based upon the physical size and terminal placement. It is NOT a measure of battery capacity. Typical BCI codes are group U1, 24, 27, and 31. Group 24 = 70-85 Amp hours 12 volts Group 27 = 85-105 Amp hours 12 volts Group 31 = 95-125 Amp hours 12 volts
  4. Looks good.... and functional.
  5. Holly Chamolly! That must be some fertile pond!
  6. That is very cool. I'm sure as you talk to him more you will realize that the old man's techniques and lure choices will not be that far off from what you do today.
  7. I would go with the 27 (or 31's if you're really on the TM all day). You can bet that the day will come that you wish you had the extra reserve.
  8. They are all great videos! I personally enjoy watching the homemade videos wether they are good or bad ;D
  9. Congrats! Estimate sounds good.
  10. You can also pitch a live minnow from your boat as you run a bank. Pitch it close to the structure you're fishing, reel it back, pitch again.
  11. That's just great.... What's next?.... Eye gouging at the bottom of a football pile?.... Bench clearing brawls on the baseball field?.... Sometimes sports and their competitiveness brings out the worst in people.
  12. Congrats on your decision. Remember, this is still fishing and you should continue to use the physical and mental techniques that keep you focused on why you fish to begin with.
  13. Very nice! I see long sleeves.... It must've been cold.... LOL
  14. Great catch!.... Wish I had access to a GC.
  15. That's an awsome fish! Congrats!
