ordered about a dozen jigs and another dozen jig heads for me to play with. Could have done more but its my first order from you and im sure i will be doing more if these jigs live up to they hype.
I agree with every one else that time on the water is key. But if I had to pick something I would say side imaging. Since it cuts your time lioking for fish.
if i had one to pick it would be 832, but samurai is great and so is fireline
personally i think samurai would be best suited for spinning but its works good on casting but i like it a lil more rigid.
chrome is the stuff
get some good extensions like hoverzoom and some price tracking tools and its great
runs a lot of ram, i use 2/6gb when using chrome
I live about 3 miles from bear creek and ive never had much luck. Ive seen dgif shock some solid fis out of their though. The other lakes arrowhead, oak hill and winston produce some good # winston is full of pads and has a lot of laydowns. Good luck
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thermocline
Basically its a separation of cooler less oxygenated water with warmer water on top. Fish tend to be above the thermocline line. it looks kinda like this.
Hopefully Wayne p will chime in, i learned most of the stuff i know from him.
i have both but i have a baitcaster that can do anything that a spinning reel can do. neverless i think a spinning reel has its time and place, plus it can be really fun to catch nice fish on a spinning reel with light line and the drag screaming always good times.
yup 50lb i love the line. if you are worried about visibility a black sharpie will do wonders. make sure you use a superline hook or you will straighten them out about every 4 fish. straight shank hooks work best, the wacky rig hooks will see to not straighten out as easy but they can.
its more of a vertical presentation. flip it in shake it make sure it goes to the bottom. But make sure theirs some water under the pads i found myself in about 6in of water the other day.
