  1. I have the 7.2 mxf it's an awsome rods for under 3/8 and will work for half ounce. The reel seat is one of the best I've used
  2. sog eod a little more than a leatherman but i think its worth it.
  3. ordered about a dozen jigs and another dozen jig heads for me to play with. Could have done more but its my first order from you and im sure i will be doing more if these jigs live up to they hype.
  4. Yes hopefully by friday that way I can buy then before I'm poor
  5. i would definatly say the 51e, i love mine.
  6. I agree with every one else that time on the water is key. But if I had to pick something I would say side imaging. Since it cuts your time lioking for fish.
  7. sharpie does wonders
  8. if i had one to pick it would be 832, but samurai is great and so is fireline personally i think samurai would be best suited for spinning but its works good on casting but i like it a lil more rigid.
  9. chrome is the stuff get some good extensions like hoverzoom and some price tracking tools and its great runs a lot of ram, i use 2/6gb when using chrome
  10. I live about 3 miles from bear creek and ive never had much luck. Ive seen dgif shock some solid fis out of their though. The other lakes arrowhead, oak hill and winston produce some good # winston is full of pads and has a lot of laydowns. Good luck
  11. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thermocline Basically its a separation of cooler less oxygenated water with warmer water on top. Fish tend to be above the thermocline line. it looks kinda like this. Hopefully Wayne p will chime in, i learned most of the stuff i know from him.
  12. Yah definatly me and a bud bolth were looking to step our fishing game up and theirs no better way than to fish with new people
  13. Will do is their a richmond bass club that does non boaters
  14. i did a clean and lube on mine and its pitches like a dream. i live in around rva if you want to try it out one day you are more than welcome too
  15. how would one sign up sam. im very intrested also would like to fish some local tourny's when i get a bigger boat
  16. The 7.2 cumaras are pretty powerful. Ive fished 1/2 jigs 15ft down a tree and horsed some decent fish out. But both are a good choice.
  17. Downloaded the app onandroid seems nice. sucks you have to download the mag but out works
  18. I have a daiwa exceller in the fleemarket I'll let it go for 30
  19. i use a 3/0 or 4/0 straight shank with a bait keeper.
  20. i have both but i have a baitcaster that can do anything that a spinning reel can do. neverless i think a spinning reel has its time and place, plus it can be really fun to catch nice fish on a spinning reel with light line and the drag screaming always good times.
  21. another one, welcome to the club and br. you will find alot of good info about fishing in rva on here.
  22. yup 50lb i love the line. if you are worried about visibility a black sharpie will do wonders. make sure you use a superline hook or you will straighten them out about every 4 fish. straight shank hooks work best, the wacky rig hooks will see to not straighten out as easy but they can.
  23. its more of a vertical presentation. flip it in shake it make sure it goes to the bottom. But make sure theirs some water under the pads i found myself in about 6in of water the other day.
