  6. I traded in a 2008 250K Tundra in '18 for a leftover '17 F250 XLT 6.2 gasser with a 6 speed trans and 3.73 rear end. The F250 has 108K on it. The only issues I've had is a water pump, tailgate latch, and I just blew out a rear shock. I understand Ford is having issues with the 10 speed trans in all their vehicles. The Tundra was not of Toyota "quality" I had heard about. It was the first year of that gen so I guess they hadn't worked the bugs out. Son has an '18 F150 Ecoboost with 80K and his only issue under warranty was the cam phasers. Have no idea what they are but were covered under recall. Unfortunately, the replacements failed out of warranty and Ford said they would only cover 50% I had a 20ft Lund when I bought the F250. That's gone and I'm in a 14ft pond hopper. Had some guy at a ramp say "Sure that's enough truck to pull that boat?" The less bells and whistles, the less **** you have to worry about breaking.
  7. This guy has done a ton of covers, everyone better than the last.
  8. You'd have to go into a 3/4 or 1 ton to keep away from the problems the 1/2 ton soccer mom trucks are having. The bigger trucks don't have to deal with the EPA mileage regs as bad as the 1/2 tons. The Tundra's have had issues with the new motor since it came out. The 5.7 IForce was pretty much bullet proof. I put 250k on one and the engine was flawless...the rest of the truck, not so much.
  9. $30 Gerber at work. Buck 110 Hunter fishing and outdoor stuff and someone recently gave me one of these and I tell you what, the quality is outstanding and very lightweight. So far I have only used it to separate the plastic dividers in my 3700 boxes and it has exceeded my expectations https://www.bladehq.com/item--Cold-Steel-Voyager-Clip-Point--8596

  11. Enjoy it while you're young. Grandpa bod and balding doesn't fare well with the ladies.
  12. Most ramps in Illinois are run privately and charge launch fees. There are also numerous lakes that charge for a usage sticker normally based on the length and hp of the boat/motor. There are ramps in WI that do not have usage fees but charge different $$$ amounts based on the length of the boats. Makes zero sense. The only logic I can figure is they think if you can afford a 20ft boat then you can afford an extra $5 for the launch
  13. So attractiveness doesn't matter?
  14. As far as "What would I do" Certify it and have it mounted. It's a fish. Would you play catch and release with a 25yo hottie with loose morals that you met at a bar? A trophy is a trophy. Mount it.
  15. I'll hijack this if you don't mind @TOXIC I have 110K on a 2017 SuperDuty Ford 6 speed. Never been changed. Same deal, drop the pan and replace the fluid, no flush? I ask because I heard if there is too many miles it's better to just leave it alone. Last truck was a Tundra with a 6 speed. Never changed fluid in 250K but the trans didn't seem to shift right when towing towards the end.
  16. Hard to register a fish on a lake that is so secluded, even the DNR can't locate it. The 10 pounders...caught on one of the Great Lakes or inland? Introduce some gobies into Menderchuck and you too could be catching DD brownies.
  17. We have a cat like that and at 30lbs he's the size of a small dog. I can't believe your wife likes that nickname
  18. Or a really smart dog. Cats are evil
