  1. You mentioned Lake Michigan in your post which is what I was responding to. I've been on both KY and Guntersville and they can get nasty with a north or south wind.

  3. Maybe not even. I was being generous
  4. Because all you need is 3-6 hours to catch the same amount of bass as you can musky in 12 hours
  5. When I was in my 20's I could drink until the bar closed at 4am, take an hour nap and be ready for work at 6am
  6. 24 gallon with a 496? Has to get milage like an EV The Great Lakes are their own breed of water and to compare them to any other landlocked body of water or the ocean, is/are doing the Great Lakes a disservice. 6000 ships didn't sink to the bottom of the Great Lakes because of bassboat size/type of waves.
  7. I had a single bank and 3 bank charger in my Lund. I installed a splitter under the deck so I only had to run 1 extension cord for charging
  8. Missouri state record https://mdc.mo.gov/newsroom/missouri-angler-catches-world-record-sized-bighead-carp
  9. Haven't gone thru the whole video. Stuck on the vegetation management right now. My next door neighbor has some sort of qualifications, maybe a marine biologist, maybe not. He's a musky fisherman and does aquatic vegetation and oxygen management on northern IL lakes for a living. According to him, the biggest issue with public water management is money.
  10. Fish are like chameleons
  11. Do you have electronics with mapping to determine how far the point sticks out underwater? If a lot of the point is underwater, and wind is blowing south to north, I'd start on the north side of the point casting into the wind and allow the bait to present itself on both sides thinking bass will be positioning themselves to feed on bait being pushed into/over the point. If there is current involved I would concentrate on the inside and outside drops dragging baits the same direction as the current.
  12. We enjoyed a few of these Green Bay walleyes parmesan encrusted
  13. Trolling cranks on the flats of Green Bay
  14. Looks like the boating market is beginning to reset. https://www.wbay.com/2024/07/26/mercury-marine-layoffs-begin-friday/
  15. Here's a story about a pod of orcas that took down a sailboat https://nypost.com/2024/07/26/world-news/killer-whales-sink-128k-yacht-in-2-hour-mediterranean-sea-attack/
  16. Personally, I use a 5' ultra-lite with 8-10lb powerpro, #2 long shank Eagle Claw hooks, and a rocket bobber. The rod is a Shakespeare that I caught on a jig while bass fishing. Rocket bobber will make any bait cast a country mile. I've literally caught thousands of panfish on this setup
  17. Which is why you don't fish out of a kayak
  18. Wisconsin has gone roundabout happy the last 10 years. They have put them everywhere.

  21. Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it. Is the 2ft going to make a difference between 19' & 21'? Yup. Is it enough difference to justify the cost? That's going to be up to you. I jumped from 17' to 20' and the difference was night and day.
  22. If it makes you feel worse, I will be in Green Bay fishing on Sunday and Monday and shooting guns at the range on Tuesday of next week.
  23. The fish fry of course. This is my favorite part. He caught it all by himself. Fish is going on the wall.
  24. It doesn't bloat me like most beer. Smooth and creamy...the peanut butter of beer...šŸ˜
