  1. river2sea frog are what i use now, they have a little black rubber piece on the hook right at the body that doesn't allow water to get in. I have used both the spro and the tru-tungsten. i find that the tru-tungstens are hard and need to be left out on the dash board of my truck for a couple days to get them to be softer. The small spro frogs did ok for me but when i tied on the bigger ones, thats when i started to get the problem with water. So IMO the river2sea frogs are the way to go.
  2. Thanks for all the info guys. I just might pull the trigger and get one.
  3. will i think your right just wanted to see what other people had to say about the rod. I use a Kistler mag. jig and toad right now but i am having a hard time skipping the frog. So i might just go ahead and get that Rojas rod and try it out.

  7. 7'3" kistler magnesium small swimbait special with a curado e7. works great with lipless cranks.
  8. +1 for river2sea, i have used alot of different hollow body frogs and found these to be really great. they don't fill up with water and they have a great action on them. also easy to make walk.
  9. What reel's are ya'll using for flippin/pitchin. I currently have the Curado E7 but my fishing partner is using a revo. Love the curado and liked his revo but was wondering what everyone else is using.
  10. I know this has been brought up before but can't find it. Is it better to store soft plastics in their own bags or in a plano type box. if ya'll store them in their bags how do you store all of them in your boats. I currently have them in zip-locks but I'm no liking it to much. any thoughts?
  11. Ok guys going to the river tomorrow. what do i need to throw. Been there a couple times and haven't caught anything. Almost to the point where I'm not wanting to go there any more. Some help please.

  19. can some one give me some advise about buying a retipped rod? it was retipped by the factory and it is a steal for this rod? pros and cons anyone?
  20. Ok. I have a tracker pro team 175txw. it weighs about the same as your boat does. i had a dodge dakota with a v6 and it was not doing the job. i felt that the trani would be going out soon so i traded it in for a chevy silverado with the v8 5.3L. let me tell you, it does the trick. i know your not looking for a truck but in my opinion you need to go with v8. the dakota with the v6 lost a lot of gas mileage when towing. the chevy gets around 21-22 mpg on the hwy and around 17 in the city. when towing it gets around 17-18 so your not loosing much there. i have towed it with a tahoe and it did great same as my truck. once again i suggest getting the bigger engine.
  21. thanks man found exactly what i was looking for.
  22. Ok will do thanks again!!
  23. Do you have any idea where I would find this titanium tube at.
  24. That is reassuring. I can do the install myself then. If I get it and have any problems i get up with you if that is okay?
  25. Thanks guys. Did either one of you install it yourselves. If so how easy is it. is everything I need in the box or is there any extra stuff i need tto purchase to install it?
