  1. YAHOO!!!!!!!!!!! Fishing trip is canceled.
  2. I've already contacted my fishing partners. If the Cardinals lose, we'll be on the lake next weekend. We get to do that in Phoenix Arizona. Sorry, just had to rub it in concerning out winter weather. I'll take yours in summer. LOL.
  3. Yeah, well here it comes. I agree with you on that.
  4. This looks like a basketball game. Whoever has the ball last wins. By far the best playoff game so far this year. GO CARDS!!!!!!
  5. I let my motor charge them while I'm fishing. Sorry. Had to rub it in. Phoenix Arizona
  6. About a mile from my house is Fisherman's Choice Pro Shop. It is exactly that. We have Cabela's, Bass Pro, and Sportsmen's Warehouse all in this area. I go to Fisherman's Choice Pro Shop 80% of the time. Superb expert advice under any conditions. Far better than the box stores. I'd rank Sportsmen's Warehouse second best around here
  7. Michael's is a good alternative, but if you can find a D&Y Beads, it's amazing , the variety they have in stock. The store is the size of Michael's, and all beads and bead jewelry making supplies. Huge variety of metal, glass, and stone beads of every type and description.
  8. Arbogast Jitterbug. Leopard frog pattern. I like their surface action and have caught more fish on them than any other surface lure.
  9. I have a D&Y bead store near my house They have a HUGE inventory of glass beads perfect for carolina rigging at an unbeatable price. 25 beads on a string average @ $2.75 and come in dozens of colors. I bought glass beads in greens, purple, browns, black, yellow, and pink. Check it out if you have a bead supply store near you.
  10. Leopard frog pattern Jitterbug. I still catch bass on it 43 years later.
  11. This is what I like about Phoenix Arizona. Fishing all year round.
  12. On my boat, I installed a "1/2/both/off battery" switch. I run the motor with the switch on "both", then switch to "1" while fishing, using the trolling motor, sonor, radio, submersible lights, etc. Then switch to "2" to start. After starting, I switch to "both" to charge both batteries while running. That way battery "2" is a dedicated starting battery and I never have to worry about not having a charged battery for engine starts.
  13. I have an Eagle 320c, and really like the color readout. I would go for the 642c.
  14. Bassresource.com is awesome!!! I've been to a lot of sites, and am a member of only three, and this is one of the three. The other two are fishingclub.com, and azbasszone.com. I'm not interested in the rest.
  15. There is a clock on the market that after the second time the snooze button is hit, it rolls off the table and runs around on the floor making a huge racket. You have to get up and chase it to turn it off!
  16. Let's see what happens on the rematch with the first string on the field.
  17. A Jitterbug. I'm a blues and swing musician.
  18. For flatheads and large channels, live bluegill is by far the best bait. These cats are strictly predators and won't take dead or prepared baits (normally). Blues will always take cut bait. I also like Strike King Catfish Dynamite for smaller channels.
  19. It's A Wonderful Life A Christmas Story Elf
  20. Besides LMB, I also target stripers and catfish, both channels and flatheads. LMB , stripers, and white bass are often schooled together in a mixed bag here at Lake Pleasant. A couple years ago I caught a 25 pound flathead on my bass baitcasting rig. Took @ 15 minutes to boat it. WOW!!!
  21. Actually, that depends on what species you are targeting. Flatheads go dormant in winter, even accumulating a layer of silt on them. Channels and especially blues remain active, this may even be the best time to target large blues. Use locally caught cut bait for blues and channels fished on or near the bottom rigged Carolina style. Happy catfishing.
  22. Thanks. Merry Christmas to all.
  23. As a younger kid (age 9), I'd say my Schwinn American 2 speed 26" bicycle. As an older kid (age 13) , a Guild Starfire III electric guitar and Remington .22 rifle with nylon stock. Still have that rifle as a much older kid (age 58), the guitar led to a lifelong second career as a pro/semi-pro musician, although I switched to electric and upright bass at age 24.
  24. I bought their first DVD and their Christmas DVD so I could watch uninterupted by pledge drives. Also have 2 CD's.
  25. Saints. Dallas will be luck to make the playoffs at all.
