  1. My ex father-in-law had a permanent case. A friend of mine had it and recovered. Wish you the best with yours.
  2. Most importantly, use what you have confidence in. I use both and enjoy both.
  3. But they do catch a lot of wind. Get the largest you can afford. I'd say at least 55.
  4. I've been using the 320c for 3 years with no problems. I love it. I never want to go back to monochrome.
  5. One weekend back in the 70's, some friends and I backpacked way back into the woods and camped and fished on the banks of Boggy Creek in Fauk Arkansas, home of the Boggy Creek Monster. Didn't see the monster, but the horrendous racket made by the owls in the woods and scurrying in the underbrush of what we later figured to be raccoons, had us wide awake and quite spooked all night. Didn't catch any fish either, but have fond memories of that weekend.
  6. Saints and Colts.
  7. There is a product called Bow To Stern that is specifically formulated for this purpose.
  8. I'll take the Saints. Super Bowl? Saints vs Colts
  9. I've had 2 piece rods come apart on long casts occasionally. I don't have a problem with transporting 1 piece rods, so as I replace rods I'm buying only 1 piece. I just like the performance of a 1 piece better. I do have a 3 piece rod that I keep in my car with a spincast reel on it. It doesn't see much use though.
  10. If you can afford the time, you should check out the availability of boats here in Arizona. We have the worst economy in the nation , and boat deals are amazing because so many of us (myself included) can't afford to pull them out of the driveway. And since the weather is great, you have the opportunity to test it on the water. Check out some boats on Phoenixcraigslist for prices.
  11. A less labor intensive version of Hot Rod's idea is to use a piece of drywall cornerbead metal stripping. It already has plenty of holes in it. Just attach with screws and add your baits.
  12. I think the Palomar is best for most lines. I tie a Trilene knot on mono though. It's even stronger than the Palomar.
  13. I forgot that they had fishing discs. I'll definately check some out.
  14. Cardinals Colts Vikings Chargers GO CARDINALS!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. I tend to agree with you. Some people plan ahead however. The late, great Jim Reeves recorded much material that he placed in a vault, only to be released at times specified for each recording. When he died prematurely, his wife had income from those recordings for several years. Wise and thoughtful man.
  16. I use mono exclusively. Trilene XL on all my reels except my heavy catfish rig. On it I use Trilene XT.
  17. I have a Quantum Mantra that I like very much.
  18. I have an Eagle 320c and love the color readout. I never want to go back to monochrome.
  19. He turns out more albums than a lot of living artists.LOL!
  20. For jigging, I'd go with baitcasting. For dropshotting, spinning.
  21. It was 72 here today. Was going fishing next weekend, but now staying home to watch the Cardinals move on to the Championship Game!
  22. The Cardinals were written off in every post season game last year and this year, yet they have proven everyone wrong so far. Any team should feel apprehension about facing them this time of year. GO CARDS!!!!
  23. Yeah, I saw that too. I'll still take the win. There were some bad call on both sides, and that one was missed.
  24. A hard loss for you, but an awesome game though, right? I'll reschedule my fishing trip if you want to come down. I can't even think straight right now, my feelings are hurt. :'( A hard loss for you, but an awesome game though , right?
  25. I'll reschedule my fishing trip if you want to come down.
