  1. It says right on Sea Foam's can that it can be used with any other fuel additives. I used Sea Foam once, but due to it's price I've been using Sta-Bil Marine exclusively for a year with no problems. My motor sat from October 2nd to March 2nd and started and ran great.
  2. Since they're time consuming to rig, before a fishing trip, I make up 4 to 6 in the evenings while watching TV with my wife. I tie this way; brass bullet weight, red glass bead, green glass bead, red plastic bead (easier on the knot then a hard glass bead), swivel, leader, hook. The two glass beads and brass weight really make a clacking racket!
  3. I'm taking my granddaughter fishing on the 27th for her first time and she can't wait. She turns 10 on the 28th. She has developed a passion for hunting and fishing that baffles everyone. I am the only one in the family that enjoys fishing and formerly hunting (not physically able, knees and hips), but I hope to kindle a lifelong love for the outdoors sports in my little girl's heart.
  4. I mainly use basically a heavy Carolina rig.
  5. I have an Eagle 320c and I'll never go back to monochrome screen again.
  6. I tie mine like this; hook, 1 to 3 foot leader, swivel, red plastic bead, green glass bead, red glass bead, 1/2 ounce brass bullet weight. The soft plastic bead protects the knot better then a hard glass bead. The two glass beads and the brass weight really make a great clacking sound.
  7. Last summer while night fishing, I replaced the 12 volt rechargable battery from my spotlight and left the discharged one on top of the food and drink cooler. Later when I went into the cooler for a drink I heard a loud kerplunk. Bye bye battery!
  8. Check out this website. www.tdipowerrack.com.
  9. I always pre-tie anywhere from 4 to 6 Carolina rigs in the evening while watching tv with my wife before a fishing trip to save myself time on the water. That's my best advice.
  10. I got 86. My dad will be 90 in September, and my granddad was 106 when he died 4 years ago. My dad was one of the strongest bulls of a man I ever knew. He's frail and decrepit now and my granddad was a daily golfer right up to age 100, but he was primarily blind by 95. I don't want to end up like that. I'd prefer to go younger and still active, hopefully on my boat on the lake!
  11. I just realized that I forgot to mention by far the most important addition to my boat. VHF radio. It has saved my butt twice after breakdowns on the water. I just tuned channel 16, keyed the mike and asked for help, and Vessel Assist was there both times within 15 minutes to tow me back to the ramp. I'd never go on the water without VHF radio again!!!
  12. I vote for exhibit C: None of the above! LOL
  13. I prefer brass bullet weights for their sound quality. I tie in this order; brass weight, red glass bead, green glass bead, red plastic bead, swivel. I feel that the plastic bead next to the swivel offers better protection for the knot than having a glass bead there due to the softer composition of plastic compared to glass. The brass weight and two glass beads really make a percussive clacking and offer color variation and light reflection from the brass.
  14. 1.Bimini top. Daytime temps here from May to September are over 110 degrees, shade is heaven. 2. Motorcycle headlights for shallow river navigation at night.
  15. I recommend braided flourocarbon line, 150 pound test.
  16. USAF 1972-1975.
  17. I use only right hand cranking reels and have converted all my spinning reels to right hand crank also.
  18. I have a deer skin face mask from my motorcycling days. It was actually made for skimobiling.
  19. I think Bassin' is best for bass information . I also get Bassmaster, In-Fisherman, and North American Fisherman.
  20. I keep my key on a keychain with foam float in the boat glove box and only insert in ignition at the ramp. An extra set of truck keys is also no the keychain just in case.
  21. Or the worst lure you ever bought thread.
  22. One of my partners bought the Banjo Minnow. LMAO!
  23. Dual braking is great. The only time I get a backlash is when I get lazy and I'm not paying attention!
