  1. Thanks, everyone. It's our first (but my second). I had a daughter at a very young age, and missed out on a lot. I'm really looking forward to all of the little things I missed the first time. It's a short time until July 3, 2010.
  2. My wife found out she's pregnant!!! The countdown begins. We're so excited! 8-)
  3. If you're a fan of college football and the atmosphere, I'd recommend dropping by Tiger Stadium if you get the chance. Despite the opponent, the campus buzzed all day. Tiger fans know how to get ready for a game. We caught most of the pregame festivities including the players walking down Victory Hill. I can see why Tiger Stadium is considered one of the most difficult places to play for visiting teams. The fans were loud throughout the game. Our first experience at Tiger Stadium was amazing. Now, we'll have to get our hands on some big-game tickets. I'm not sure if I'll enjoy watching games at home nearly as much. Here are a few pics we took.
  4. I won a couple of tickets at work earlier this week to check out the Tigers first-hand. ...almost time to geaux.
  5. As a Packer fan, I bet you love the Favre quote about finally feeling at home. Favre is such a tool.
  6. The Yanks are playing well right now...but as we all know, things can change quickly. Enjoy it. October's still a good bit away.
  7. I can't stand the fact that for years, the Players' Union fought drug testing to protect civil liberties. The tests would identify players using illegal drugs. Why did the Union go so far to protect a player using drugs deemed illegal by law? If it's illegal, there are consequences. Organizations are not above the law.
  8. Drummer, guitarist, and novice bassist...Does that qualify? We should put together some BR bands. Imagine the results.
  9. ...too quiet on the Red Sox front. If it were up to me, I'd send Clay Buchholz to sunny San Diego for Gonzales. Something needs to happen before the deadline.
  10. I agree 100%...but it looks like once the test results were seized, MLB doesn't have the control to keep the names confidential. Isn't the legal body in possession of the test results responsible for the leaks? I don't think MLB has much to do with it at this point.
  11. I think all the leaks have come from lawyers... :
  12. What a shame...Hasn't Ortiz been vocal about baseball needing to move forward? I guess I understand why now. This really sucks. At this point, they just need to release the report. Otherwise, the names will continue to be leaked until they're all out.
  13. Wow...thanks for the input, everyone. I'm sure I can find a couple of albums I'll enjoy.
  14. This past weekend, I took my mom and her husband out on the boat. They wanted to catfish, so I found a spot and anchored. While they were fishing, an older gentleman showed up at his camp, popped in a blues album, and cranked up his stereo. For about an hour, I listened to some of the best songs I've ever heard. The gentleman left, and I didn't ask him about the album he played. I've got some of the music stuck in my head...and I have no clue who it is. Someone direct me to some awesome blues. I need to pick some albums up soon.
  15. Okay, ya got me. :-X Seattle really needs the offensive help though. ;D
