  1. at least it was a good one.
  2. If it is a cat 3 or better i dont want it any where near us. Bahamas arent looking good.
  3. Yeah lets not do this thing, Irene.....please track east.
  4. Says who?
  5. how did you guys do? I would have met up but was up in Orlando.
  6. You need to utilize that small boat and get in some small lakes. Forget Lox. It can be good but it is a zoo and gets pressured hard. Go find some lakes near you and drop that boat into some gems lakes with zero pressure.
  7. That fish needs a samwich
  8. Looking at an aerial of that area isnt going to help you much. The water is probably 18 inches lower than those pics and those spots you highlighted are like 6 inches deep now. Stick to the canals. You will catch fish. Good luck!
  9. Yeah how is the water level on garcia? I want to go there but am scared the ramp is dry or the lake isnt accessible now.
  10. If it was on the north end then it can only be a handful of places. Hard to imagine getting poached on one of those spots. Fishing has been fun out there....minus broken car windows.
  11. Good job Bruce. Could you guys get to your fish on the South side or had you been fishing the North end? -Dale
  12. Seriously....i fished for like 15 years in Dade without a problem. PBSO didnt say much. They did get blood from the dirt bag from one of the other cars. I also have a face print of the MF'er on my passenger side window where he tried to look through my tint.
  13. Just a heads up guys. Last Monday 4-5 cars, mine included, were broken into at the North Lox boat ramp off Southern. It happend maybe around 5pm. We all came back around sunset to find the carnage. Typical smash and grabs. I leave nothing in my car but they still ripped off and stole part of my center console that had nothing in it. They got two guns and and some other electronics from the other cars. What a * mess that is to come back to after a nice afternoon of fishing. Got out of there close to 10pm once we waited for PBSO and filed the reports.
  14. There is no getting away from them when the water is as low as it is. I hit one with the trolling motor on Saturday and then had one literally hit the boat with is tail Monday. They are pesky little scoundrels. They follow the boat constantly and will make a run at a fish you are catching if you arent careful. Good news is the bass are there too.
  15. Nice shane Love the big sneezy. Get more fish per bait too over a dipper.
  16. Fished the north end of lox on Staurday. Caught 15-20. Biggest was 4.5. missed two that big as well. All three of those were back to back casts. bigger fish came on big worms and spooks. Water is crazy low. Gators everywhere.
  17. You will be about an hour from 3 exceptional lakes: Okeechobee Stick Marsh Ansin Garcia I would bring my boat if i were you.
  18. Is there a story there?
  19. Hey Robert I ran around the back side (from Southern) and on to the flats three weeks ago and it was SHALLOW. I had to put down and idle in out of the canal on to the flats. I then drifted back west on the flats with the wind. There were some spots that were 10 inches deep. I was able to get up and out in a deep section and managed to run out.
  20. Appreciate that. No couch here. I will be at work. I am out on this trip. Have fun guys. -Dale
  21. Had two stress cracks in the hull. On the way to Missouri for repair.
  22. I am out on this trip guys sorry. I am boatless for 4-6 weeks or so as my tin is in for warranty repair. Tear them up!!!!
  23. I think some of the bed fishing guys were fishing 12# FC in the really clear water but that was the exception instead of the rule. All those guys flipping were using braid. Andy Morgan loosing mulitple pigs was heart breaking. All in all FLW coverage is poor IMO. A lot of mis-information and too little fishing.
  24. nice. girl looks spawned out and healed up.
  25. nice catching guys. It has been hard to work this week with this great weather.
