  1. are you fishing a tourny? i might fish the silver division of the bass busters on saturday. that is if my wife lets me. No....i was hoping there werent any tourn because of the traffic. Where is it out of Clewiston? How many boats?
  2. I am going again on Saturday. The last two weeks i have been getting only 10-12 bites but the quality is good. 2-4lbs. It an AM deal though. Ill let you know how i do.
  3. interesting concept on the head. Is that supposed to help keep fish hooked up because it is free floating hook? The plastics look ok. The finesse and trick worms look like direct zoom copies.
  4. i have heard some guys like to swim them like a very subtle spinnerbait. I have had success pitching them on a T-rig when they want a smaller bait.
  5. i was going to say 9-10. That thing is thick.
  6. I fished yesterday. I stayed away from Ritta and the floatilla. Bite was good in the morning....slowed.....and then died. I was off the water by 11:15.
  7. I will be on the water @ 6am tomorrow.
  8. Shawn Bigsby!!!!!!!!!! Awesome......that made my day...hahaha
  9. OMG....what i wouldnt do to be out there today.....It is completely 100% overcast right now......cant even see the sun....with a light SE breeze.......ughhhhh.
  10. It isnt an act. I just wish he wouldnt say every fish is 'huge' or 'its a giant' when its like 2 pounds. He does that all the time.
  11. Gar dont eat grown bass.
  12. first off.... What brand line is it? What lb test is it? What reel do you have?
  13. that. A brand new welded boat tank tested from the factory......makes me agree that it is the plumbing.
  14. SK Buzzking JR for me. The 5/16th triple wing with a gama trailer hook. Rises faster and can run slower than any other buzzbait i have used. Including cavitrons.
  15. Lack of maintenance and age. Applies to women as well.
  16. I wish they would do that here with all the morons driving boats like they're crazy and blind.
  17. +1 on this rod length. Check out the 6'8" and 6'10" lengths for wacky. Perfect length IMO. Long enough to cast well but short enough to roll cast and skip.
  18. 10 in the rod locker. Usually end up with 4-5 on deck. Anytime i dont bring all of them i always end up wanting the one or two i left at home. So now i just bring them all everytime.
  19. +1 on the 788ci. Just got it and love it. +1 on not getting it from BPS too.......if you go HB check their outlet store. If you use ebay make sure you get from an authorized dealer to make sure you get a warranty.
  20. I just bought an 08 txw175 as part of the steal of a deal promotion. That promotion already had the boat a couple thousand below prep and freight price. After some haggling i got them to throw in a $250 gift card. I tried for 2 gift cards and they said "see ya". I walked. Then went back and did the deal. From what i learned their cost on the gift card is half, and the rep makes 3% i think. So if he is making 300 bucks he might be willing to throw in a 100 buck gift card (costs him 50) to get the deal done. Haggle until they say no.
  21. what is the water temp? When i was there a couple weeks ago it was over 90 degrees by 11am.
  22. They are native to SoFla. I always used to find more in the everglades canals then in the clearer south canals.
  23. Yeah i met him at SeaSport a couple years back. Dude had on more jewelry then Mr. T. haha
  24. I dont remember any shops that carried wild shiners. Until you got close to lake O. I think Sawgrass and Holiday used to have wilds every now and again. Just catch your own.
  25. +1. The new high definition radar is excellent too.
