  1. i like the paca craw better with the solid head/hollow body. I get more fish per bait and they are cheaper.
  2. consider a trailer hook on that thing.
  3. I could be down depending on the day. I might have an opening in the back seat too if i went.
  4. I fished north lox about 3 weeks ago and it was pretty good. caught a dozen or so in a morning with some quality. Went back a week later and it was up 4 inches and rising. caught 4. It is up even more now. >
  5. Sad, sad news. He just posted asking about okeechobee last week. I remember because he lived in Tequesta and that is right up the road from me. Tragic. Be careful out there guys.
  6. Isnt calasis the latest Shimano flipping reel?
  7. Is Al Linder still a bass pro? On topic: KVD, Skeet, Nixon, Clunn
  8. Ike has also mastered spitting, grandstanding, over reacting, and kicking of $2000 gps units. He also throws better tantrums then my 3 yr old niece. ;D
  9. id look into why your livewells are full. most of the livewells ive had/used at the most fill 2/3rds full. He didnt have a boat problem......he had an irresponsible ski boat driver problem.
  10. If you have fished it 4 times in the last week and a half and not caught on it then there arent fish on it right now. As good as that point looks to you the bass are not there.
  11. It wasnt a pond it was a canal. And the final conclusion was that she fell in drowned and the gator found her after.
  12. gator lover? Nobody is talking zoophilia here. To answer your question i would feel horrible. First off because either myself, my wife, or my kid would be in trouble. Secondly I would be mad at myself for my lack of judgment in letting myself, my wife, or my kid get into a situation where a gator could attack them. Gators dont shoot out of the bushes at the mall and grab wives, and they dont pick kids off of swingsets.
  13. To be fair i am on my second tracker and couldnt be happier.
  14. News flash: Gators dont eat fishermen. To the OP: that gator wasnt trying to eat you. He was either hoping you would catch a fish that he would steal, or that you had some food. pitchnbass: i hope you dont think that gator at farm was trying to eat you and your gf. haha. He was just showing you who was boss of the marsh.......and he is. He doesnt deserve to get killed for that. I am all for population control when it is called for and american alligators are thriving down here.......but shooting one just because you are scared of it doesnt make sense to me.
  15. Unless you are like 7 feet tall.....that bass isnt over 3 lbs.
  16. Knowing my luck i would send out a brand new spro shad and get back a bag of renegade worms.
  17. Go with a guide on day 1. Then try on your own after that. That is my advice.
  18. I am serious. I am sure almost all of us do, but do they? I cant really see KVD doing that in front of 100 spectator boats in the middle of Kentucky lake. What do they do when nature calls?
  19. haha.....they absolutley were. We will probably be back on that finesse thing 5 years from now after the swim bait craze wears down. Strike king will be trying to sell us tiny baits again: The baby garter snake, and the teeny tiny lobster. and people will buy it too. ;D
  20. yeah you need to reproduce exactly what you did the first night. you could probably clean up in that lake.
  21. I dont buy this "already full" excuse. Reaction strikes arent hunger based anyway.......and how many times have you guys caught bass with forage in their mouths or throats? That happens all the time. The fish are there and they are eating........somewhere. Summer can be a tougher season down here.......but that is what makes it a challenge.
  22. i agree. Lead seems kind of clunky in comparison. You have to decide if its worth the extra coin.
  23. It takes so much concentration and focus to fish effectively.......i cant imagine drinking while fishing.
