  1. 4.5" straight tail roboworm
  2. Thanks for the suggestions, I always wet my line but I will try leaving a longer tag end to see if that helps. If that doesn't work, I will try another brand.
  3. I did not have a good experience with braided line during my last outing. I broke off 3 fish during my hookset or within about 5 seconds afterwards using 50 lb spiderwire. My line was nearly brand new and I tried both a palomer and improved clinch knot. Both failed, I am guessing it must have something to do with my knot. This line should not be breaking that easily. Is there a different knot I should use with braid? I have never had any problems with the two knots with mono or fluorocarbon. Any other suggestions besides possible knot failure? Thanks
  4. Has anyone fished Hungry Mother Lake in Southwest Virginia? I am planning to visit there in June. I fished there once last year and had no luck.
  5. I am also a fan of the robo worms 4.5". When the bite is tough they are hard to beat.
  6. Just bought a revo sx, do not prefer it over my shimanos.
  7. I'm not a bass pro fan either. I have realized lately that it is more of a tourist attraction. I can't find the colors I want most of the time. You would think that such a large store would carry everything you could think of. My local tackle shop carries more lures, rods, reels, etc. at about a quarter of the size of bps.
  8. How did you become pro/ what steps did it take to get there?
  9. I would go with the revo, super smooth and casts well
  10. Yes, you have to register a boat even if it has an electric motor. Ok, thanks
  11. I want to hit up swift creek. I have an old 12' jonboat that was given to me and hasn't been registered in years. That being said do I have to register it even though I would only be using an electric motor? I think the answer would be yes, but was just checking. Thanks
  12. I've tried a lot of different flouro lines, Seaguar is my favorite
  13. Thanks for all of the replies, I tried out a Dark Angel today and really liked it. Hopefully I can get my hands on some others before I make a final decision.
  14. Hello everyone, I am in the market for a good soft plastics and jig rod. I've been looking at the Damikii Dark Angel in 7'0" MH and the 6'10" Kistler MH Football Head Rod. Has anyone used either of those? Any other recommendations in the $150 price range? I'm looking for it to be lightweight and sensitive. Thanks
