  1. For smallmouth go with crankbaits around rocky bottoms and weedlines. In the rocks fish eiter a hula grub or a smalliebeaver on a 1/4th to 3/8ths ounce football head, this technique will always produce. If you can find gravel flats try the above mentioned and try burning a spinnerbait across it. In the morning and evening try topwater of any sort around any structure.Smallies will swim 25 feet just to eat a topwater. Also a jig and pig will get some better size smallmouth.
  2. Thanks. I will keep adding to it.
  3. I have a mercury from 1987 and it still runs great all I have had todo is change the seals (spelling?) on it and it always starts and runs great.

Fetha' Styx is my current rod sponsor. I like To represent each of my sponsors to the furthest extent. As far as fishing techniques go I am a power fisherman, but I can slow down and finesse fish too, I like to fish spinner baits and Jigs a lot, but I do like to dropshot and drag lead heads. I am a versatile fisherman and will go with what pattern works regardless of type of fishing. Other than fishing I work to earn money for fishing gear and tournament entry fees. For work I mow lawns and fix stuff for people. I know that there is more out there for me to learn and look forward to it.
  5. A heavy spinnerbait will work along with deep diving crankbaits. A jig and pig will also work. For the best deepwater results a grub/hulagrub/beaver on a football head will keep you intact with the bottom the best and let you feel everything that is down there. A C-rig with a heavier weight will also work. If you want your senko to get down deeper faster try using a suspendstrip on the hook. Also dont be afraid to throw a zara spook over the deeper water. Bass will swim a long ways to hit it.
  6. Best ride:Ranger Best use of space:Triton Best speed: Stroker (100+) Best big water capabilitys:Nitro Best Overall Speed, space, ride, and handling:Skeeter
  7. You should give outlaw baits tubes a try, they are thick and have a lot of salt.
  8. It seems like with largemouth the little ones always bite first but with smallies it always seems like the biggest one is the one to hit first out of a school because they are extremely competitve.
  9. I use willow blades for a faster retrieve and in clear water. The willow blades are awesome for smallmouth. With a tandem blade combination(for smallies) the top one should be chartruese and the bottom one should be white, and use a matching skirt. If I want a slower retrieve I use colorado blades.Colorado blades make the spinnerbait go slow and raise quicker. This is why they are a good choice for largemouth. Use silver in the sun and gold or copper in the overcast conditions.
  10. Bass Pro Shops Rip Rap or Bluff Wall
  11. On the lake, at least you got a electric. tube or dropshot for spawners.
  12. Kvd or swindle; hopefully martens wins, somebody from the west needs to win. Winning weight 13+ 13-
  13. Classic and E 50 Which is more fun; a school of largemouth busting bait fish around the boat or a school of big smallies hammering everything around the boat.
